"Ladies and gentlemen, We would like to thank you for our stay in your hotel. Most of all this was really excellent. The restaurant and buffet, including the friendly service staff, were also good to very good. Unfortunately, however, there was a point that has somehow affected our stay: the ceiling height of our room was too low for us, which was felt as impressive. At the check-out we were asked whether everything was to our satisfaction. However, after we expressed our concerns about the room, there was no response to it. That surprised us somewhat, because such a question should actually serve to address any problems and address them. "I stayed at Hood House for three nights whilst attending a conference in Kassel. The location is central (on Königsplatz) with access to restaurants, shops and cafes as well as public transport. The location is not the poshes corner of Kassel. There was a fair bit of police presence until late at night in surrounding streets but it didn’t feel unsafe at all. Access to the accommodation is fully contactless, including check-in. An electronic key is issued on check in, accessible on your phone and there is also the possibility of issuing a key card on a self-check-in kiosk. The day I arrived the server was down and we had to wait for about an hour to receive help from a nearby partner hotel. Once that was rectified, the experience was smooth. The accommodation may not be suitable for non-tech savvy travellers though. My appartment (500) was modern, clean and spacious with a queen bed and a bed sofa in the living area. This would sleep up to 4 in comfort. The kitchenette is equipped with the basics plus a Nespresso coffee machine. There is a laundry room with washing machine and dryer as well as an ironing board on the 5th floor. There are no other amenities in the building, however there is a gym (All Inclusive Fitness) in one of the malls across the road that has day passes (Tageskarte) for under €10."

"The hotel is close to the main train station of Kassel and William train station, close to the river, the appearance is simple, the interior is very design, very beautiful. The setting and layout of each room are slightly different. There is a market by the river next to the hotel, you can stroll around. It is very convenient to go to William Heights or Green World, and there are trams and even some walking distances nearby. The room was very well maintained, the whole looked new and very clean. The bathroom has windows and the ventilation system is not bad. The bathroom is very fast. The restaurant downstairs is German and very delicate. Breakfast and dinner are very good, especially salad, fresh and delicious. The roast pork chops for dinner are generally mastered, and they are a little uncooked at the end. It is not recommended. The fried pork chops are very good, crisp and delicious, not greasy at all. The waiter is very handsome and patient, and will pay attention to timely inquiries, which is great. Overall very satisfied, will come again next time."
