Koh Mook Sivalai Beach Resort ★★★★

📍 211/1 Moo2, T.Koh Libong, Koh Mook

"A beautiful luxury resort on Koh Mook. The bungalow offered a perfect view of the beach, and the room was incredibly comfortable and spotless. We stayed here for our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The resort staff organized a private tour for us to go snorkeling and visit the Emerald Cave, which was very convenient and professional. It’s a bit more expensive than other places, but for the quality of the service and the location, it is absolutely worth it"

Dugong Village-Green Hotel ★★★★

📍 198 Moo 5, Pak Meng-Chang Lang Rd,Maifat, Mai Fat, Sikao

"We had a very good experience here. We rented a family room which was spacious and very comfortable for three of us. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. A short walk across the street leads to a big beach and we rarely saw people there. The breakfast was also good and the free bikes were great to use for going into the village. We will absolutely recommend this place to friends in the future and would not hesitate to go back there again."

Koh Hai Fantasy Resort & Spa

Koh Hai Fantasy Resort & Spa ★★★★

📍 5 Moo 4, Koh Lanta Yai, Koh Ngai

"This was my first time on Ngai Island. Since there are no roads, I searched for a place with easy ferry access. The deciding factor was the availability of a check-in area for the return ferry. Without this, even if the hotel staff helped with my luggage on the way there, I'd have to carry it myself on the way back. I chose Fantasy Resort to avoid that hassle. Another plus point was the pool. The beach in front of the hotel is shallow, like the others, but it's not too rocky at low tide and impossible to walk on, so you can enjoy the ocean at any time. There are plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and large trees, providing ample shade, making it comfortable to spend long periods on the beach. The proximity to the hotel bar was also a plus. There are several room types, and I stayed in a standard room, so nothing particularly noteworthy. However, the beachfront rooms have their own pools, which, while not quite as impressive as the overwater cottages in the Maldives, do have a special touch. My only complaint is that they provide a pool in front of each room for guests to wash off the sand, but there isn't enough water to wash it off properly, so you end up bringing the sand back home with you. As a result, some of it got on the bed, leaving a rough, uncomfortable sleep. The food was so poor that I would have preferred not to have the included breakfast at all, and I would like to see some improvements, even if it means paying a little more. The restaurant menu was limited in variety, but had a basic selection, and I was glad that they didn't have the pork that is common on southern islands. Naturally, the prices were those for an isolated island, and were similar to those of other hotel restaurants. I was tired of Thai food, so I ordered a steak, and they asked me how I wanted it cooked, but when it arrived it was already a little cold, so it was disappointing that asking was unnecessary. Relatively speaking, I felt I was satisfied"

Mook Montra Resort Seafront

Mook Montra Resort Seafront ★★

📍 82/4 Moo 2, T.Koh Libong, A.Kantang, Koh Mook

"We really liked the place. The location is very good, close to the village and its offerings and just by the sea. The accommodation is good although would recommend a deep clean. Nice touches from the staff - the pier pick up/drop off, breakfast, tea… very nice. The manager is great, and seems to be working constantly from the early morning till late at night. Thoroughly recommend and hope to come come back sometime."

Koh Hai Fantasy Resort & Spa ★★★★
"This hotel is not the best option for accommodation on Koh Ngai. First about the advantages of the hotel. The location is probably the most convenient on Koh Ngai. Speedboats moor next to the hotel, you do not need to go on a longtail or walk on the sand and luggage in the heat to the hotel. Nearby is the beginning of the trekking trail to the neighboring beaches and the observation deck. On the territory of the hotel there is a restaurant, bars, massage, a store, a good pool. Rooms are cleaned daily. Beach towels at the reception. The staff is friendly, sociable. Now about the minuses. The buildings on the mountain are tired. Curtains with screws, old furniture, yellowed switches, dead air conditioning. Prices in the restaurant, like everywhere on the island, are not budget, but to my taste, not tasty. I ate in other restaurants on the island, it seemed tastier there. The store with exorbitant prices, there are other stores, they are cheaper. Although I saw strong alcohol only here. There are few umbrellas on the beach, literally three of them. The tree saves, but there are always a lot of people relaxing under it and a beach canopy of a restaurant, but there are only chairs, sun loungers, of course. Of course, in the absence of places in other hotels, you can stay here, on Ngai the hotel is not the main thing, but next time I will consider other offers. P.S. Sunrises on Ngai are a must see."

Mook Montra Resort Seafront ★★
"Absolutely delighted to have stay at this resort, set in a lush garden and tree line setting, and overlooking the shoreline. The tent accommodation with airconditioning and an ensuite was superb, spacious, clean, and having a balcony made our stay most enjoyable. The only drawback was.that the TV did not work, all in all, a minor hassle. Highly recommend! Note: if you come outside of the high season, Koh Muk is very quiet, and only a few establishments are open"
