The night before, I selected a hotel near Kunshan South on Ctrip. Ctrip recommended this hotel and the reviews were very good. I have been booking hotels on Ctrip and I trust Ctrip. This hotel has several points:
1. The area outside the hotel is very lively. There are many shops but the clutter is poor. The elevator in the shopping mall smells musty. The hotel is not hygienic. It feels like the air nearby is smelly.
2. The facilities are old. It opened in 2017, but it is not so dirty (see pictures). The whole building is basically a hotel of various kinds. There are many people waiting for the elevator and it is slow.
3. The price is 232 yuan on Ctrip but 148 yuan on site at the hotel. The room type is the same. Ask me how I know. In fact, there are a lot of scalpers on site. I saw and heard other people on the same floor checking in and asking about the price.
4. WiFi is very slow. Even basic short videos are very slow.
A very "unforgettable" experience. It can be said to be the first time in life.
I hope Ctrip will not recommend it to me in the future.
