"The Welwitshia Guest House is absolutely beautiful. I booked a family room for myself and three sisters and we were delighted when we walked in the door. It was like a small apartment! There was plenty of room for four of us with lots of storage and a large bathroom. We were on the ground floor and had a lovely terrace leading on to pretty grounds and on to the pool. The breakfast room was large and airy, overlooking the pool and grounds. We were surprised to learn that the Welwitshia has been open for ten years as it is immaculate. The staff were all so lovely and welcoming. We will definitely be returning"

"Resort with a pool. Nothing to complain about. We booked an apartment for three people (even though there were two of us) because we needed an apartment and it was the only one available. We paid very little and were given a two-story apartment with six beds (minimum), two bathrooms, and a kitchen. At reception, they greeted us by telling us we'd be a bit large, but this was much more than we expected. The only flaw was the bathtub (used as a shower) on the first floor. It was a bit rusty, and we didn't feel like bathing without slippers. We used the other bathroom anyway. A bit far from the center, but still a very comfortable and relaxing stay. I would gladly return. We didn't take photos, but we have a video of the apartment. We only have photos here, so we took screenshots from the video."

Hotel Rural Brícia du Mar

"We were a unsure when we first arrived here. Our room was large and the patios are huge. Everything was spotless and it felt new. Lots of sunbeds and a nice pool. Would have been nice to have sunbed mattresses. This is one of those places where they give you towel tokens. It’s then down to you to take your towels back to reception to exchange them. Would be simpler to leave a towel bin near the pool and put fresh towels in your room each day, or have them near tomhe pool to collect. Many of the staff have limited English, which is not their fault, but it does make if difficult ordering things sometimes. We considered using the restaurant but it had no atmosphere and zero views. Location is OK, there is a great beach around 10 minute walk away. There’s a restaurant opposite the hotel, but take cash as they don’t accept cards and you’d have to have international banking set up if you wish to pay online. Breakfast was reasonable and lots of options. You won’t be disappointed here, but you also wont’t be wowed."
