"Lovely location, room very clean comfy bed, great staff, breakfast average but plenty of choice, only let down was a dirty ring around cup on breakfast table and mantle shelf in piano room dusty. No menu on table we had to ask for menu on second morning. These issues sorted by waitress very quickly. I got the feeling she was not happy about the way the breakfast tables had been set up. The same waitress served us both days and was very good at her job and polite. Having said all above we will be back to stay here again. I don’t like leaving negative reviews I hope the falcondale management will see this review as constructive and not as a negative. For me if a guest will return they are doing a good job of looking after the guests just as I mentioned a few little let downs to address"

"Checking in got done eventually. Was asked what time I wanted breakfast, it started at 7am, we decided 8am. Could not gain access to the restaurant at 8am, had to go out the night exit. To be greated by the chef (Alex) who had been there since 7am, waiting for the manager to turn up. The maintenance guy let him and us in, when the manager eventually turned up, words were exchanged with the chef about not calling him... not the chefs fault, you should have given him a key! No apology for leaving us outside in the cold, got our breakfast at 9.15am. Food in the evening was good, sarah who served us most mornings was brilliant. Last morning, manager Francesco is RUDE, he made no effort to greet his paying guests! I asked what his name was, which he overheard and he confronted me about why I asked for his name! I have been in the hospitality business myself and I have never been spoken to the way he spoke to me. Rude is an understatement, confrontational, his words..." I like to stay in the background"... here's a tip, stay out of the hotel business then... that will be my last stay with you."

"Had another lovely stay at the Evangelisa, always so welcoming and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and lots of choice and selection too and cooked to perfection, and sets you up for the day ahead. Well worth a stay if you are visiting locally. Alyson and Rob"
