Gorgeous hotel, a little bit out of town but walkable. People with walking problems maybe will have difficulties walking up the hill back to the hotel. Snack bar reasonable and drinks fairly priced. Luz is beautiful but tiny. It is advisable to book restaurants in advance. Also use cash as a lot of places will not accept credit / debit card. Gorgeous hot weather made our stay perfect

Loved our stay here in Lagos...it was walking distance to the grotto and the old town. The shared kitchen was a bonus and was really clean. There was a jacuzzi in the back yard but didn't use it. For the price this place was perfect for us.

Overall I would recommend this hotel! The location is perfect - it's not in town centre, but a 12 mins easy walk away - however it means you're just another 10-15 mins walk away in each direction to multiple beaches. It's closest to Praia Caldeira and Des Estudiantes (my absolute favourite!) and likewise, you can walk the other direction to Praia Dona Ana and Camilo, and the famous Ponta Da Piedade within 25 mins - no uphill! It's super close to two supermarkets (Spar and an Asian Mart) and enough restaurants nearby, or just next door to a fabulous chinese restaurant (yes, of all places!). A few imperfections with the smell, possibly not the hotel's fault and average pillows, but we'll live for c. EUR130/night. Do try to secure a room on level 2 and above. I initially got a room with twin beds on level 0 and it was noisier and smellier.

The Belver Porto Dona Maria is a Resort with a big Golfinh place. You book houses there which are en n good shape. Normally Kitchen togethee with big living room, bath with shower and pod and sleeping room. You have all things which are in a kitchen needed also a refrigerator and can cock by yourself. The friendky cleaning service (like Fatima) comes ever day and so its clean. The manager of the property will gelp you if you sre in trouble. A big swimming pool area is included to visit. You have a card for using it.Also the location is n near of the beach a small walk brings you to panorama views and amazing clips. I‘ve enjoyed the place and other people looking at my, of course its cheaper to book than a little hotel room of course Praia da loose is expensive.

Lagos has a lot of slopes. This house has to go up a very slanted slope. No washing machine is a bit inconvenient, but there is a dishwasher for two minutes and there is a laundry room. The gas and electric stove are amazing. There are several big supermarkets nearby, and there is a huge super super opened by Chinese people in 3min. Go to the old town 15-20min Marina 15min or so There are four rooms in total, the soundproofing is not very good, especially the corridor and toilet The curtain of the room I lived in on the first day was broken. I couldn’t see it for a long time. I contacted the agent in whatsapp and didn’t reply. The next day, I was awake at five or six o’clock in the day. I called in the afternoon and asked when I was at home. Fortunately, I was very idle and waited for someone to come to the door for repair. When I first came, wifi was not available. The staff who repaired the curtains said that it should have expired for a long time. When they repaired the curtains, they bought a new card and replaced it. The place to take the key is a bit away from the house. It is not very convenient to walk for 15 minutes. It is not very convenient to drag the suitcase. The road here is a little difficult to walk. There are many slopes, but the taxi is very cheap. The lock downstairs is a bit difficult to open, it takes some technology to open, and it can't be opened at the beginning. The price is very competitive, it is set late, about 100 euros for five nights, very good. The magic is that this house does not have shower gel and shampoo. I suspect that the staff will put it casually because they look the same except for the name. There is no extra charge when checking in, there is a simple breakfast every day, although it is one person, they still prepare two people.

The hostel is good and breakfast is sufficient for a youth hostel. The water and bathrooms could be cleaner. We had a few cellars in the room. The service and location are top and it is beautiful for a few days.
