Nor a desk. While the night manager stated that I would get a 50% discount since there were no blinds, Trip.com couldn't seem to get hold of the property to discuss my concerns. I've stayed here before, but it seems to be getting worse as time goes on. What's going on, Wyndham?"

"As a solo, I reserved the cheapest accommodation but when I arrived the Snugaloo had bees visiting, so I was upgraded to a very pleasant one-room with a fridge, shower and other luxuries. I had come to ride the Sparta-Elroy bike trail but the stay at Justin Trails was an unexpected bonus. Tranquil, quiet, restorative. It was just cool enough to enjoy the firepit after I returned from the ride (I'm from Florida so your results may vary). A bit up the road in Leon, the Cotter Pin was a convenient dinner spot. A longer but direct drive to Viroqua takes you to the Driftless Cafe and its farm-to-table cooking. The breakfast at the resort features items like homemade cider and granola, and farm fresh cooked vegetables. I had forgotten how much corn is grown in Wisconsin until I made the drive through the fields surrounding the farm. Be sure to look for the binder with the history of the property you are staying at. Well worth the trip and the price, IMHO. "
