"We reserved a studio at this hotel for one night, specifically for a private terrace balcony. Unexpectedly, we were upgraded to an apartment with a shared balcony for four other studios. After expressing our concerns to the reception, the manager explained that the studio pictures were misleading due to collaboration issues with a certain company. Seeking a private terrace, we were upgraded again to the master apartment, which boasted three private balconies. It turned out to be a fantastic apartment with an ideal location, stunning views, and perfect amenities. Highly recommended, especially for families of four. The stay was delightful, and the breakfast, featuring various sweets and numerous egg and cheese options, was excellent. We'd gladly return, with the suggestion for the hotel to clarify that the studio terrace isn't entirely private."

Aeolian Village Beach Resort

★★★★ 8.7 (52 reviews)

"Location & First Impressions This was our first visit to Lesvos, and from the moment we landed it felt completely different to many of the more commercial Greek destinations. The airport is small and relaxed – when we arrived, ours was the only plane there. We booked through Jet2 and the transfer to the hotel took around two hours. Halfway through, we switched from the main coach to a shared minibus with another family. Although the distance isn't huge, the second half of the journey winds through mountain roads with tight switchback bends and speed limits of around 40mph, so the transfer takes longer than you might expect. Lesvos feels wonderfully traditional and, importantly, not yet spoiled by mass tourism. On arrival at Aeolian Village, I was initially a little underwhelmed by how remote it felt and the apparent lack of anything nearby. However, that quickly became one of the hotel's greatest strengths. It offers a genuine escape from everyday life and allows you to completely switch off. The Room & Hotel Our room consisted of a double bed and single bed with a rear-facing balcony. The view wasn't the prettiest, but it did overlook the mountains, which was peaceful and relaxing. The room was cleaned every day and the entire hotel was spotlessly maintained throughout our stay. One thing that stood out was how amazing the hotel smelled everywhere – a small detail, but one that really added to the overall experience. Food & Dining We stayed on a half-board basis and, quite simply, the food was outstanding. I've never experienced hotel food quite like it before. The quality, freshness and cooking of every dish is a real credit to the kitchen team. The meat dishes were consistently excellent and the profiteroles were absolutely incredible. Breakfast was also very good. The bacon and sausage were the standard type often found abroad, so I tended to skip those and instead enjoyed the freshly made omelettes, Greek yoghurt with honey and nuts, and the fresh bread with cherry jam – a new favourite of mine. The pool bar also serves food, and it's surprisingly good. The chicken nuggets were some of the best I've had, and portions are generous – around nine nuggets or eight fish fingers in a standard serving. Food prices were reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. The drinks, however, were a little disappointing. Because there isn't much nearby, you're effectively a captive audience. There is a Happy Hour at the pool bar and a "Thirsty Thirty" half-price promotion at the beach bar, but I wasn't particularly impressed by the cocktails. My mojito, for example, tasted mostly of lime juice with a single shot of spirit and no brown sugar, despite normally costing around €10. Pool, Beach & Kids Club The beach is lovely and the sea is crystal clear. One of our favourite moments was simply standing still in the water and watching shoals of fish gather around our feet. The kids' club was okay, although very quiet during our stay, whic"

"Excellent location within easy walking distance from several great restaurants. Great breakfast. Clean rooms. The pool has an attentive lifeguard so you don't have to worry about your children drowning. The bar is very reasonable and they serve good snacks and drinks around the pool. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. I'll definitely return (as often as possible)"

"Hotel right in the center. For a boutique hotel this is not worth the money. The room was dated, small, dark and not maintained. The breakfast buffet was varied and there was plenty of choice. The service was friendly and polite, but I did not feel the Greek hospitality that I normally know."

Belvedere Aeolis Hotel

"Perfect holiday, perfect location. We will be back! The hotel itself is a typical Greek hotel, it’s clean and comfy and the staff are all lovely, The food - yes it’s not roasting hot but nowhere in Greece will you get that, it’s all served to Greek standards. We went all inclusive and the food was lovely, always a good choice, lots of fresh salad and the potato wedges were amazing! Drinks were typical all inclusive drinks, some cocktails which were ok, and you could pay to get better spirits or cocktails. The adults pool bar when open was ok- Pepsi out of bottles though and sometimes flat, but did make up some cocktails and offer them round the pool, and the main bar guy made sangria and was always nice and friendly! The wine was also nice! The hotel is perfect as it offers a shuttle into town meaning you can get out and about, the same shuttle will also pick you up at designated times and that for us was a winner over other hotels. (Taxi fare is only €6 though!) Tip- get the bus from molivos into anaxos (€1.80, and main bus stop near molivos taxi rank) and spend the day at Acapulco and enjoy the beach and a beer and a gyro there! Overall we would defo return, the only downside was the adults pool was freezing!!! Not sure on other pool as didn’t use it. The staff make this hotel, room was always clean, food areas clean, bar clean, toilets in main hotel clean. Could do with a better pool table! Thanks Belvedere for a fab holiday! We will be back!"

Malemi Organic Hotel Hotels in Lesbos

Malemi Organic Hotel

"My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks at the end of September/early October 2025, the tail end of the season on the island. I don't know if the owner/staff were tired and looking forward to the end of the season, but it seemed that anything requested was a chore. They seemed to be standoffish. The hotel is marketed as an "Organic" hotel, but we saw no evidence of that. The description on the Jet2 website is misleading, as it states "For a relaxing, authentic Greek experience, the Malemi Hotel is the one for you. With its own farm to the rear of the hotel and a vegetable garden with home grown produce used for the restaurants many delicacies, this family-run business prides itself on sustainability and welcomes all visitors including families, birdwatchers and eco-tourists." There's nothing at the hotel to back up this claim. Also the photos are at least 5 years out of date. We paid to stay half board, swayed by others reports of fantastic food. What a mistake that was. BE AWARE! Mealtimes are like a school canteen! The meals were served between set hours in a buffet style. If you didn't there in the first 30 mins, then you went hungry. Serving dishes were not replenished when empty. This was the same at breakfast. Also it was a lucky dip: none of the serving dishes were labelled with what was on offer. When questioned about this, the staff member replied "You want me to label everything in Greek?" There was no menu, you got what you were given and that's that. I did ask one day what was on the menu for that night and was told "something with lamb, rice, potatoes". Not very helpful. We were asked if we had any allergies on arrival, but I only saw one person being told what they couldn't eat over the 2 weeks we were there. My wife was violently ill one night after eating something that had Mussels in: it wasn't labelled. She's not allergic to seafood or shellfish, but Mussels upset her stomach. When I mentioned this afterwards, I was told I should have mentioned it at check in! We didn't bother after that, we ate out at one of the charming tavernas in the village. The pool bar, was open but not staffed: I had to search for a staff member to serve me at midday on a hot day. The main area of the hotel, the dining room and "lounge(!)" is dark and gloomy. The whole place is in need of a refresh, it's very tired and not welcoming. There's no music played in the hotel AT ALL, not even muzak in the background. Our room, a superior room, was fine. It was what you'd expect from a Greek 3* hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom could be improved, but the water pressure in the shower was great. We had to ask for a kettle and also an extra pillow which we got after a bit of huffing and puffing from the staff. The village of Skala Kallonis is a 10-15 minute stroll along the waterfront, passing the amazing blue flag beach. There are about 7 restaurants in the village, a couple of tiny supermarkets and a great coffee/ice cream shop, in and ar"

"What a lovely friendly hotel. Nice rooms, brilliant breakfast and a lovely pool. They couldn’t have been friendlier to our two kids (5 and 2 years old). Aphrodite Beach Hotel Hotels in Lesbos

Aphrodite Beach Hotel

"A very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Our room's air conditioning was a bit slow, largely because the cleaners insisted on leaving the windows/doors to our room open once they'd been in the morning so the day's heat was allowed to penetrate inside. Why couldn't they shut everything after, say, thirty minutes or whatever? Clearing this took more power than the air con units could really muster. A small matter really as we weren't uncomfortable. Breakfast was good enough, fresh eggs, bread, pastries etc. The taverna/cafe was very good, authentic Greek food...and I don't mean waterfront/beach tourist Greek Salad authentic. Very tasty, very basic, good value and plenty of it. Visited by many from outside the hotel, who also used the hotel's pool. Mid day the pool was complete mayhem. Children turned the pool into a warzone running laps, divebombing, lilo fights screaming and shouting. I witnessed hotel guests arguing with pool visitors (non-hotel guests) over sunbeds, and the visitors lying they did indeed stay at the hotel and were Jet2 clients - highly unlikely as they were clearly Dutch! I also noticed visitors removing a guest's shirt and towel from a bed so they could use it, even though visitors are only allowed the use of a small fraction of sunbeds. A really poor experience, and we didn't use the pool area for the rest of the holiday. I brought the matter up with reception who thanked us for mentioning it but stated non hotel guests only used the pool at weekends, but this was clearly not the case. We asked why there wasn't an occasional pool attendant and were told staff were too busy working in the restaurant as they get a lot of outside visitors! We had a hire car and were thankful we hadn't elected to walk into town at night. Steep uphill for the first half mile, and if a warm night then a bit of a hike. Lots of people getting taxis, quite wisely, but Lesvos is a fantastic island with some very lovely places to visit - particularly restaurants, so why not hire a car and do the island justice? To summarise - a good hotel experience, marred by carnage at the pool. If you want the whole island experience then the Aphrodite is perfect, if you want lazy times by the pool with a book while your child plays then check you have ear plugs and your child is a confident swimmer and isn't deterred by groups of other kids racing, bombing, diving, screaming etc etc "

"A simply beautiful, stylish, elegant hotel with thoughtful, kind & helpful staff. The atmosphere is quiet and therapeutic. The building & rooms are just beautiful (check the website!). The Hammam is amazing- completely cleansing and relaxing- like a meditation that puts you right ‘in the moment’, connecting you to your mind, body & spirit. I came away floating- calm & grounded. I can’t wait to book another treatment. Thank you so much! See you again very soon! Namaste. Clare x"

"Fantastic apartments with extraordinary views. The apartments are set into a hillside the higher the apartment the better the sea view. It’s very steep so if you have mobility issues ask for a low level. The hotel is spotless and the breakfasts very good. The staff are very friendly, there are 2 pools one of which is for families and kids and one is adults only. Both have great views and are very nice. The hotel is about a mile and a half from molyvos centre and the hotel lays on a courtesy bus several times a day, Molyvos is an incredible small town with lovely harbour. This hotel is great and we loved it but just be aware that it is a distance from molyvos. We got a taxi several times and it was only 6 euros so found it ideal."

Lassia Studios Hotels in Lesbos

"Stayed here between 5th and 7th of May. Lovely clean apartments with great views and everything you would need for a holiday. Beds really comfortable. Food was also very good. Owners and staff very hospitable. A little way out of the resort so probably not great if you have mobility issues but good if you like a walk. You can avoid the main road to Petra just ask the owners for directions and there is a lovely quiet walk that takes you straight to the church on the rock."

Panorama Hotel Hotels in Lesbos

Panorama Hotel

"We stayed here at the end August/ beginning September. Although we paid a very reasonable price with Jet2 I was surprised by the quality of the hotel. Rooms were generously sized, clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate for us. Some fresh fruit would have been nice, but we don't usually go for the'hot' options' having tasted Greek bacon and sausage. They also did a 3 course meal in the evening for 15 euros. We didn't eat there so cannot comment on the quality. The pool never seemed crowded, although i did notice a lot of sunbathing towels, despite signs asking you not to. This was probably because a lot of the sunbeds are under permanent shade. The hotel is 200m from.the best part of the Petra beach. Much of the beach is given over to beachclubs. They are a bit crowded with fixed umbrellas - one in the sun and the other in shade, swapping over around midday. The music can get quite load too - mainly europop and dance music. However they only require a minimum spend of 5 euros per person during the day and don't continually castle you to buy drinks. Ghe main town starts about 800m from hge hotel, on a level road. There are about 10 restaurants in the town. The menus are quite restricted compared to other places we have visited, with traditional Greek dishes, grills, pasta and pizzas. Most of them are family owned and service can be a bit haphazard. There are also a number serving fish at very reasonable prices. I had a large dorada for 18 euros and we shared a gigantic sea bass at 40 euros. Prices in most places were like you remember 5 years ago. 3 of us regularly ate for less than 60 euros, with a litre of housewife included. There isn't much nightlife in the village apart from some bars. Those in the centre get very busy. All in all, Petra and the Panorama are little gems if you want a relaxing holiday. The only downside of the hotel is that it is built on a steep hill. Seaview rooms are higher up so don't request on if you have limited mobility. Also, the WiFi seems restricted to the reception and pool area. We could pick it up on our balcony but not in the room. There is, however, an excellent 5g service if you have roaming."

"Our room was booked as a deluxe double but in actuality was a room from the 1950s in decor and ambience and very much lacking in floor space. Our nearest double deluxe room had a balcony, possibly larger floor space and was less cluttered by the amount of dated furnishings we had. It certainly appeared much more ‘roomy. The advertised roof top bar and pool area was far from as advertised - bar not open during our 3 night stay. The pool spa was non operational. On a positive, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was excellent with the breakfast typically of Greek cuisine and with attentive breakfast staff. Our rating could have been different if we had been allocated the room that was advertised. Certainly needed for a comfortable three night stay."
