Aegeon Hotel

"Skalla Kalloni is a gem of a resort. Perfect for couples. It has to be one of the most authentic places on the island. If you love nature and short walks to the beach, great local restaurants and tavernas, it is perfect. It’s a small cosy little village with a gorgeous little town square. The Aegeon is a lovely hotel at the end of village and provides a gorgeous beach walk into the town. The staff at the accommodation are second to none. It is the hotel we have returned to for the last three years because of this. The amount of returning guests says it all about how special this hotel is. The Aegeon has a rhythm all of its own and on Greek Nights it comes alive! The days are relaxing by the pool or a gentle stroll to the beach. Bar service is excellent and bar food is delicious - recommend the Greek Pizza! Staff are so friendly, welcoming and ensure we feel at home for the week. The rooms are always well tended by the cleaning staff with plenty of fresh towels and bedding changed regularly. A/C in the rooms for those hot nights and balcony space for relaxing. It is the perfect hotel for looking out over the wetland - you never know what beautiful birds you will spot so taking binoculars is a must! Will definitely be returning for our fourth visit!"

"Amazing stay. I travelled alone with my 13 year old and we had 5 days in the sun. This place is just dreamy. The staff are so friendly and so helpful. I recommend to all and I would love to come and stay again. You kind of ideally need to hire a car if you’re going to see more of the island. You have to order the breakfast, it was amazing"

"Wonderfully holidays, we have just spent in the hotel 1 week but we feel as rested as after a year. Clean and cozy rooms, delicious homemade food made of high quality local ingredients. Management and the employees are very nice and helpful, you feel that they really care for the comfort of the guests. Garden around the villas is green and full of flowers, pool nice and clean and the view from it and the restaurants terras just stunning. If you want to forget easily about your entire busy life go to Clara;)"

Panorama Hotel

"This was our third stay at this lovely hotel and it's honestly just as beautiful. I asked for a room in a specific area and that is exactly where we were put . It is spotlessly clean and the family that run it are always really friendly, I love looking around the gardens and seeing what is growing next door. Breakfast is simple but perfect ( new toasting machine wouldn't hurt ) - always lovely fresh salad and yogurt. The pool area is great, never seemed too busy and always managed to find a sunbed in the shade. It's a short 15 minute walk along the beachside into the town for an evening meal and if you're lucky you can spot little owls at the entrance to the road leading up to the hotel. I really can't fault it here and each time we decide to try somewhere new in Petra we come back here."

Your lovely hotel is ideally located for visiting many places of interest, has recently been restored with quality furnishings to a very high standard and impeccably clean everywhere owing to the daily room servicing. I love the garden and the beautiful sea views from my balcony. Your mother in law is happy and charming and your cleaner was efficient and friendly. The power shower is "to die for"! I am an elderly, extensive worldwide travelling explorer and one very important thing that I have learned over the last 65 years is that the best accommodation to choose is one which is both owned and run by the family. My long holiday here with you has been "one of the best" and you are deserving of this review.. "A lovely small hotel in Petra old town. The room was very cozy and clean. The owner is a lovely lady. We had breakfast included which was amazing. Bread, eggs, fresh orange juice and lots of pasteries each morning. Only a few minutes walk to the beach and the shops/bars/restaurants. As we had to leave early we got some breakfast to take with us I really can recommend a stay here, you won't be disappointed."

"I lived in the life room. The sea view room was facing the port. Before the full moon, I could see the moon rising from the balcony every night. The hotel room is clean and comfortable, and travel is extremely convenient."
