"The owner is incredibly kind. We arrived past 11 PM, and they were still waiting for us, picked us up, and helped us with our luggage. We were so touched! The guesthouse scenery is absolutely stunning; the back window overlooks a beautiful rice field. You can even eat meals at the restaurant under a parasol by the rice fields. The guesthouse breakfast is simple, refreshing, and delicious. They also offer free coffee that you can brew yourself. The room was clean, and all the amenities, including toiletries, were well-stocked. Many guesthouses don't provide hand soap, which is inconvenient, but this place had everything, even laundry detergent for delicates. The room was also very spacious. Absolutely fantastic! 👍"

"Xiage Rice Terraces is definitely a paradise hidden in the Qiangui Plateau, allowing us to enjoy a rare sense of comfort during the congested National Day holiday. Choosing Biyin B&B next to the terraces is the best decision for this holiday. In the early morning, white clouds cover the mountains, the morning sun shines brightly, the golden ears of rice are rising in waves, the farmers are hoeing and the fields are deserted, and the chickens and dogs are chasing the sun in the fields. Walking on the paths in the fields, the fragrance of rice fills your nostrils, orchids compete with each other; frogs chirp in harmony, and birds fly back and forth. The children were chasing and playing on the Long River, nodding and greeting the visitors, passing by, taking away the hustle and bustle of the world, as if time had frozen. Under the setting sun, the fields are filled with water, and the afterglow is dyed; red and orange are intertwined, and yellow and green are new. The black ridges separate the colorful fields, like fingerprints on the earth, imprinting the thousand-year wisdom of the descendants of the Yan and Huang Dynasties among the mountains and rivers. The sunset has ended, and the stars have appeared. Guests in the B&B dine around the fire, enjoy themselves, have fun together, and gather with their neighbors. Well-fed and well-fed If you have spare time, you can drive more than ten minutes from the B&B to the Dong Village to enjoy the fun."

"I highly recommend this guesthouse. The room is outstanding. It has everything you need and the view is spectacular. I really love how open and airy it is. The rooms have such a lovely cottage vibe. It is a magical feeling waking up in the morning to the lush green landscape with the view of the traditional village. But most of all, the hosts are incredibly warm and helpful, that I felt so comfortable and at home here. From beginning to end, the hosts were very proactive in communicating and I appreciated how helpful they were with my every need. I am forever grateful for them. The breakfast noodles and buffet are amazing and so rich. For lunch and dinner you can walk right to the village (4 min walk) for amazing restaurants and snacks. I really appreciated the convenient pickup and drop-off service. The open lounges are great to relax in if you want to be around other guests. But the rooms are quiet if you need silence. I had amazing sleep here. This guesthouse is worth it in every aspect. I stayed for quite long and wanted to extend my stay. I am so glad I picked this guesthouse. Book this place and you won’t regret it!"

"First off, a huge plus for anyone driving: this is the *only* place in the entire scenic area with parking, which is fantastic! 👍 It's also right opposite the entrance to the Dong village, and the hotel itself has a viewing platform, making the location incredibly convenient. I was traveling with family, and the owner arranged a super accessible room for us—we parked and were right there. Seriously, couldn't ask for better! The whole garden area is so relaxing and pleasant. I'll definitely be back next time! [Strong]"

"Choosing this guesthouse was absolutely the right decision for our family road trip! 👍 What surprised me most was the owner's private parking space, eliminating any worries about circling around the scenic area looking for a spot – a godsend for road trippers! The room was very spacious; our whole family slept comfortably, and the kids could run around freely. The facilities were new and spotlessly clean. The owner was incredibly kind and recommended some authentic local restaurants. There were also many shops selling various kinds of sachets on the street, and adults and children could even try batik making – so much fun! We'll definitely stay here again next time we're on a road trip! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"

"This hotel is superb! It's very close to the observation deck and the health center (the main station for the sightseeing bus), right near the entrance of the village. It's only a few minutes' walk from the main street, so the location is absolutely perfect (💯). The bedding is excellent – very clean and comfortable. The balcony offers a fantastic view, basically overlooking the entire village. It's incredibly relaxing just to sit on the balcony. The owner is amazing! They offered free luggage storage even after we checked out. Later in the afternoon, when I was out exploring, I mentioned wanting to find a place to hang my clothes, and they specially arranged a spot for me. So warm and friendly! The travel tips provided by the owner were also very practical."

While brushing my teeth, something that looked like a bedbug fell from the ceiling and landed directly in the sink; when I went to bed, I felt itchy all over, and I couldn't sleep well because I wasn't sure why; I turned on the electric mosquito repellent after entering the room, but it didn't help much, and I woke up around 1 a.m., only to find my hands covered in bites in the morning. "This guesthouse is perfectly located in the heart of Huanggang Dong Village's 'CBD,' right next to Gaoluo Drum Tower. You can reach it just by walking past the lotus pond. The room was very clean, and the air conditioning worked great. It had a private bathroom with a toilet, and while the bathroom was small, it was fully equipped. The owner was incredibly welcoming and proactively helped us carry our suitcases up to the second floor when he saw us arrive! Since it's a wooden building and close to the drum tower, the sound insulation isn't the best. Guests who are light sleepers might want to bring earplugs."

"The environment is first-class. You can see the terraces when you open the window. I used to think that the sanitary conditions of the homestay were not good. The sanitation of this homestay was better than the hotel. The sheets were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The boss picked us up to the high-speed rail station. You can also order a late night snack at night. You can take a bath, drink a little wine, and see the scenery. The happiest and pleasant holiday, the first time I stayed in such a good homestay."

"The service was fantastic! The location was also pretty good. The village isn't very big, and the hotel is at the entrance, not in the center, but not too far away. The pick-up and drop-off service was excellent, and the butler was quick to answer any questions and provide recommendations during the trip, making it perfectly feasible to come without any prior planning. However, the tatami room could be improved. One side of the bed was too hot, while the other side was too cold, making it difficult to find a balance. But if your travel companions have different preferences (some are sensitive to heat, others to cold) but want to share a room, then this room type is highly recommended."

"The hotel's location is rather remote, and restaurants are far away. Since they only offer breakfast, we ordered takeout after arriving at the hotel in the evening. The environment downstairs is poor, with abandoned car parking lots in front and behind. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, and the toilet had stains, which we cleaned ourselves with disinfectant wipes. The entrance and exit to the underground parking lot has a very steep slope, and the breakfast selection is limited."
