The location is good; the sightseeing boat dock is right in front of the hotel, and the train station is only about a 5-minute walk away."

Spotless, polished, and so well maintained they could pass for brand new. The food is delicious. There's a sense of space and privacy throughout – you can truly relax here, and that’s becoming harder to find these days. If we had to point out one, it would be this: with great luxury comes a certain kind of guest. This is the sort of place where fellow guests don’t so much greet you as assess you. A raised brow here, a barely perceptible glance there – one feels not unwelcome, but rather under review. Still, it’s all part of the charm. If you’ve ever wanted to star in your own episode of “The Tastefully Dressed Stranger Who May or May Not Belong Here,” this is your stage. In short: Castello del Sole is exceptional. A haven of taste, peace, and unspoken expectations."

"The hotel is clean and the welcome is friendly. Breakfast was okay, but could have been more varied; you always had to ask because not everything was always available. There's a nice children's playground next to the hotel. Since it's an apartment hotel, the rooms vary. In our room, the double bed was a fold-down bed and the mattress was extremely soft, making it very difficult to sleep."
