"This hotel is nicely situated near the beach and shops in Lorne. The rooms are a bit dated and the mattress not very comfortable however everything was in good working condition. Parking is somewhat limited and may require some walking."

"The location is really great just a corner near the shopping area but the room were in 2nd and 3rd floor. So who us having heavy luggage better be prepared. The sofa bed us too soft which mad me could not slept well."

"We were so excited for our stay. We came with two other families and we each booked the ‘deluxe’ 2 bedroom holiday unit. Our friends both had modern, clean units that were spacious enough for families. Ours was a lot more basic, old and quite dirty. The carpet was awful and the unit had a stale smell. Nothing deluxe about it, I would hate to see the ‘standard’ holiday units. Definitely not up to standards for over $250 per night. When I mentioned it to reception that said they would mention it to their manager but no apology or anything. Would not be returning."

Aireys Inlet Getaway Resort

"I stayed here for 3 nights for a solo getaway and chill out. Checkout was efficient and I thought when I arrived that I wouldn't have much privacy as the accommodations were all quite close together. However, the place was well designed from the windows (you couldn't see in if you were outside), the planting (landscape design was clever) and positioning of outside entertaining areas. A very big surprise for me was the beautiful big bath. With kitchen facilities and all the home comforts (including a gas fire), it was very cosy indeed. I was able to walk every day along the coast and re-charge but knowing the Great Ocean Road, the venue was also a short drive to busier hubs like Lorne and Anglesea. I got exactly what I needed from this trip. If you're staying off season, make sure and bring supplies with you as not much is open during the week."
