"We spent 6 nights at Penrose with our 3 dogs. The room was large and had lots of space for the dogs beds. The bed was comfy and was a good size. The on suite was very spacious and had everything you needed as the had a supply of shampoo and bodywash in the shower. On the second floor there is a snug where you can watch dvds and read and its a nice place to chill. The breakfast was amazing. Food cooked to high standard. With a range of teas/cereals/breads to choose from. I really liked the decor of the breakfast room. It was very nicely decorated and had nice artwork on the walls. The decor of the B and B I enjoyed as well. Lots of artwork and lots of Heidi's pictures around which some you could buy. You could also buy some home made jam, marmalade and chutneys. We got some jam and it was scrummy. Thank you Chris and Heidi for such a wonderful time at Penrose. I am sure we will return. "

"It was a friendly place you was very welcomed on your arrival. The pub was lovely they had different choices of real ale so that was perfect for us. food was nice. The only thing was the steep stairs when you went to your room but part from that it was just what we wanted for that weekend we stayed"
