"This hotel is beautifully located across the valley from St Cirq Lapopie. It is a very good location with ample easy parking. The rustic room had a patio leading on to the vinyard. Simply beautiful. The man in charge is a very practical person. Easy check-in and good breakfast. The place has a few quirks like the bathroom. It's big and the water pressure is great but half the room gets soaked after a shower. Also, the AC switches off by itself when someone goes out on the patio. The person inside has to get up every time to switch it back on. No remote. But these are small things when considering how fascinating St Cirq looks at night, all lit up, from the bedroom."

"Very disappointed with this hotel despite the positive reviews. The setting is beautiful but the village is half in ruins and the place is very noisy, between the cars passing by, the horn of the boat calling its customers every half hour right in front of the hotel all day from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the noise of the host in the kitchen that can be heard until 11:30 p.m. and the staff talking in the street right in front of the rooms until after midnight. The window that doesn't close on the street side, the room that is too small with many cobwebs and a big trace of grease that has run down the door at the automatic closing system. The worst thing, we found hair on the blanket and the sheets of the bed. The bathroom is very old, this establishment is not worth more than 2 stars. We were supposed to stay 3 nights, we left after 1 night."

"We loved our stay in this traditional family owned and run hotel. Mathias was an excellent host , friendly and helpful. He and his wife ( chef in their restaurant) do an amazing job. We felt very “ at home” staying here. Breakfast was excellent , great coffee and croissants with ham , cheese and jam. We wished we had stayed longer in this beautiful village. Highly recommended."

"Amazing hotel to discover the Lot Department. Locations is great, close to every major attraction, and great restaurants nearby. It is a family owned hotel, excellently managed by Aurelie. Cleanliness at top level. She is always there to support and to give tips about the area. Kids loved the pool, and cycling, kayaking and trekking are one step away!"

"History Buffs; you couldn't find authentic lodging than Jardins de la Contie! According to the English owner Ken, the farm was built in the mid 1300's. It was a labor of love for Ken and his wife to restore it. He was a wealth of information about the countryside, Figeac, and the historic places around Figeac. Our room was perfectly equipped with refrigerator, tea maker, coffee maker, and four beds; one King and two Singles. It was on the first level the property, surrounded by fields and ancient lanes which you can walk from the compound of three cottages plus a cool heated swimming pool. The breakfast was standard French fair, but topped off with a lively discussion with Ken about life in the Middle Ages and his efforts to totally restore the buildings. It's approximately 7 km from Figeac on good roads. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone interested in history and is one of our favorite places to stay in SW France!"

"The hotel is located in the heart of Gramat and has a lot of charm. There are parking places right in front but under the blue disk between 9:00 and 19:00, this has not caused any problem. The dogs are accepted. There is an elevator. The room was very good and the room was very large with a beautiful shower room. The breakfast is taken in the big room but the only bemol is that you have to go and get the bread and the growing in a room with a counterpart. The staff and the management are all welcome and listening, and we feel like family."

"The place is very pleasant and quiet; the welcome is friendly; rooms and bathroom perfect, comfortable and superbly decorated. Excellent breakfast On the other hand, the table d'hôtes is not really one for us who are fervent followers; we were very disappointed because we were not warned: the owners do not dine with us as is done at the table d'hôtes which is sought after for this moment of conviviality and sharing. What is more, in our many years of practice, we have never had to pay for an aperitif (it is generally regional and simple) it was a walnut wine but...; the same for wine at the table (it is always generously offered to us) and also for coffee (always a coffee or herbal tea offered at the end of the meal)... In summary, we had a good dinner but we felt more like we were in a restaurant than in a bed and breakfast! Luckily another couple had dinner almost at the same time as us... In short, we are sorry but we will not be back or just to sleep well and enjoy the delicious breakfast. Cash payment is required for meals. If you pay by credit card it is a 2% supplement; luckily we had a checkbook!!!"
