"Very warm welcome I had a very pleasant stay in Bagnoles-de-l'Orne. The pool and sauna are a real plus, especially during hot weather. I recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay. The only downside is that the housekeepers vacuum the rooms early in the morning, which makes it difficult to get up early, but other than that, you have to do the cleaning properly if you want quality cleanliness. 😁"

"Don't come here with high expectations! The hotel is large and well-located by the sea in town, right next to a casino. However, the service is lazy and doesn't meet five-star standards. For a 3000 RMB room, I got a square room with absolutely no view. The staff's English was poor, and I missed my SPA appointment because of it. Some of the furnishings in the room were old and damaged. The hotel's signage for navigation was also very poor."

"My friend and I are traveling around France for a couple of weeks. We picked this hotel based on reviews and price. It was a good location to drive to Omaha Beach and the surrounding area. We each had a room with a king size bed, a very large bathroom with a wonderful shower and separate large tub. Free Coffee, tea and water provided in the room and a small refrigerator with snacks and drinks available at a modest price. Beds were very comfortable and room temp was great. Very quiet location and free parking. The best thing was Julia, the front desk staff person. Extraordinary service and assistance with everything we needed including ordering Thai food from a local restaurant because the restaurant was closed on Sunday night and Monday night, the two nights we were there. She deserves a GIANT Thank You and a Gold Star! I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to France."

"We had room 14 which was lovely but a little dark & was in a building separate to the Chateau, the receptionist on duty was very helpful & kindly changed the foam pillows to feather ones, the main restaurant is closed on a Sunday & Monday so we had to eat in the bar/bistro with a limited menu & disappointing food. Breakfast stops at 10.30am , we turned up at 10.00 to find most things had gone, I ordered poached eggs & was told that would be €9 extra, I wanted croissant s to go with the eggs as there were none left on the buffet, the waitress produced one tiny one on a plate, 15 minutes later my poached eggs arrived cold, no-one let the waitress know they were ready, I couldn’t eat them, my husband ‘& I agree we won’t go back."

"The name of the room is New York, interior decor on the city of New York with paper panels that you find in trinket shops and which do not correspond to the style of a prestigious mansion. At 10 p.m.; I could not connect to the wifi service, because the owner had turned off the connection. Several shards in the sink, no godet to rinse the mouth, yet this is found in all hotels even cheap ones. For a mansion it leaves something to be desired! The cleanliness is average (note: dust on the bedside lamp). The bed is patched up with boards to support the slats that were broken. At breakfast I spoke to the owner about the boards that support the bed, he explained to me that travelers had fornicated in this bed. The slats were broken. I also spoke about the problem of wifi connection. Around 10 p.m. I wanted to connect to the wifi with the code written on the small desk in the room (impossible). Because of this, he told me he had cut the connection. It was at breakfast that I was able to read my messages. Then, I found myself alone, when it was time to leave I called the owner several times, I don't know where he was because I insisted out loud. I wanted to tell him about my dissatisfaction with the reception conditions and the bed and see a solution with him. Very disappointed with the reception and the sleeping conditions. Dishonest of the manager to make a customer sleep in a broken bed. No compensation. I didn't like anything"

The staff is adorable, welcome and always at small care, we have really feeling well throughout the stay. The spa is excellent to relax and the tennis field is a real more. The hotel is a warm, elegant and restful hotel, ideal for a couple stay. We have worshipped and will come back without hesitation."

Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The pool was lovely and perfect for relaxing. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the meat and cheese platter was absolutely the best"
