Oaks Mackay Carlyle Suites ★★★★
"I choose this accomodation because it was in walking distance to the Entertainment Centre. Accomodation was modern and very clean. We had good customer service during our entire stay. "
ibis Mackay ★★★★
"Very close the Mackay Airport and very comfortable, quiet and clean"
Coral Cay Resort ★★★★
"Stopped over for a night during my trip. Parking was easy, it was quiet, and the environment and cleanliness were all pretty standard. There are places to eat within a few minutes' drive. I didn't go out after checking in at night, so I didn't really get a full impression."
Mid City Motor Inn ★★★
"It was in a great position in town So close to the lagoon swimming for children"

Pacific Sands Apartments Mackay
"I stayed in hotel room 104 and I was absolutely disgusted. •Dirty dishes with food still on them •Drinking glasses (wine glasses in particular) had greasy finger marks and lipstick marks. •Dryer didn’t work •Bedroom had no TV •Fridge cupboard door broken off. •Calcium build up in bathroom and really bad water pressure in shower."
Discovery Parks - Mackay
"It was a great location there was a tone of activities for kids easy access great service overall a 10 out of 10 really enjoyed my stay will be back"
Mackay Seabreeze Apartments
"Un clean, un friendly"
The Resort at Dolphin Heads
"The view was amazing and there was laundry Services we were there for work so we could use that and it was a great stay overall"
Miners Lodge Motor Inn
"There were not expecting me even after booking three days in advance ,Good location but they need to exceed customer expectations."
Shakespeare Motel
"The room was large, very clean, and the overall facilities were perfect and complete. Accommodation and supply along the way, rest, great. It would be even better if the washing machine was added."
Windmill Motel and Events Centre
"Great location but staff at reception told me restaurant was closed for the nite it was 7.45pm.very disappointed."
The Marco Polo
"We chose a motel along the way. The rooms had bunk beds, which was very convenient. It is also very convenient and practical for families with a large number of people traveling together."
White Lace Motor Inn Mackay
"Oh dear! The front - desk service here is truly abysmal. They didn't bother to inform us in advance about how to get to our pre - booked rooms. Moreover, they even tried to take away our room keys. The room facilities are extremely shabby. We had no quilts, just a dirty blanket. It's so noisy around here and the sound insulation is so poor that we can hardly get a good night's sleep. I booked two types of rooms, one standard queen - sized bed room and the other a twin - bed room. But instead of giving us the twin - bed room, the hotel put us in a six - person apartment. It's just a complete disaster! The worst part is the service of the front - desk manager. Because of this hotel, my impression of Mackay is really not good at all! If you're coming to Mackay, please don't stay here."
International Lodge Motel
"Motel is centrally located within easy walking distance to several dining options. Room was spotlessly clean. Probably the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. If I had one criticism it would be bathroom was a little small but not a deal breaker. Reasonably priced. Parking on sight, love their key locks. They send you a code to put in to the touchpad on your door, no looking for keys. Would I stay again. Definitely."
Alara Motor Inn
"Couldn’t fault anything. Clean. Cool aircon. Comfortable bed. Would stay here again."
Mackay Rose Motel
"Very nice and very clean"
MainStay Suites Mackay
"I travel for work very frequently and feel like ACR Mackay are the only hotel group who appreciate loyal customers. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are lovely and thoughtful, and I really appreciate the effort they make to welcome back return customers :)"
Boomerang Hotel
"Stayed here for four nights as everywhere else was fully booked. The bar area is ok, the staff are generally pleasant. But that's where the positivity comes to a shuddering halt. The rooms whilst clean are poorly furnished and small, the bathroom is tiny, no hot water in the sink so had to shave using the shower head. Though if you don't want a nights sleep this is the place for you. Looks like it shares a carpark with the Mackay Formula One Team, an industrial premises that starts it's machinery and deliveries from very early on. Let's not also forget the passing "locals" who are clearly nocturnal. Not for the faint hearted. "
Comfort Resort Blue Pacific
"Comfort Resort has a number of comfortable units arranged with BBQ areas, pools and access to the beach. We found our unit to be comfortable, clean and well equipped for self catering. Nick and Cath were very welcoming and we enjoyed our brief stay."
Tropic Coast Motel
"I accidentally locked myself out of my room at 8PM when going out to my car to get something - I then went to the office - nobody there - didnt answer the phone so I knocked on the door - an old woman with curlers come out really angry and started accusing me of being drunk and chasing *********** on the main road??? I told her - NO Im a resident and wanted to get back into my room. OMG - what a hole this place and the owners - OMG Place if filthy - TV doesnt work - no cleaning"
