"We spent a week in this paradise, it was amazing. Marco and Francesca were great hosts, we felt great in their perfectly designed, built and maintained resort. We really appreciate the dinners with them on the last day of the year, it was like we were family :-) It was great that they recommended a number of activities for us (snorkeling, swimming with whale sharks, visiting the village on the island and more) and organized transportation. Everything went exactly as we agreed, and in the evening we always talked informally about how our day had been, what we have planned for the next few days and we also talked about other topics - how life is going :-) The cuisine in the resort and the service were impeccable, the willingness of the staff and the amazing aesthetic and taste experience with each meal were additional bonuses of this stay. "We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was comfortable and we were happy to have A/C. The only thing we didn't enjoy so much in the room was a bit of a smell coming from the drains in the washroom. There was a nice hammock and comfy couch on the porch. It would have been ideal to have some seating available in the room, as we had to sit on beds in the evening when we were trying to avoid mosquitos after dusk. There were plenty of comfortable couches available in the large open common area where the bar and dining areas were located. The food was excellent. Three course dinner was available for USD $15. They were kind enough to cater to my requests for more veg and no rice/pasta/potato side dishes. With early morning scuba trips, they were happy to pack a sizeable breakfast for me to take along, sending fruit, muffins, pancakes, and omelette depending on your preferences. It was great to enjoy it after a couple of dives to not be underwater with a full stomach. I appreciated the free transfer to the beach as early as 5:30AM, and though we generally walked the 20min back to the lodge each afternoon, they were also happy to go pick up other guests who I went diving with. We appreciated the friendly service, and would certainly stay again. The compound was beautiful with all the trees and flowers."
