"Very nice location in the heart of the Sunshine Coast mountains very quite place in the forest, close to Gardner falls. Room nicely equipped with outside hot spa, fireplace, separate lounge, small kitchenette with Nepresso coffee machine, good range of lose leaf tea, full minibar, large shower. Quit location for resourcing. Nice walk in the park and to the nearby Gardners Falls (prized by local for swimming). Be aware of restaurant closed on Monday and Tuesday and so no room service avec 6pm on Monday and Tuesday. Very nice restaurant with Thai/Asian fusion chef style cuisine, full of flavors and interesting spicy mix. The staff is very helpful and caring."

"I decided to propose to my now fiancé at Secrets on the lake. Cassandra was amazing and took care of everything including a video call before the special day, so I had a clear understanding of where I would be going for the very special and intimate moment. By creating the perfect planning, she helped to calm the nerves before popping the question! The backdrop and facilities are incredible, it was very intimate and felt like we were secluded on a stunning tropical island with no one else around. The picnic was amazing. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thankyou so much for what will be a lifelong memory! I highly recommend anyone else looking for a stunning place and set up, to pop the question, to consider doing it here. I am wishing we also booked accommodation there too as it looks incredible."

"We recently stayed at Spicers Maleny, for 3 nights, and absolutely loved our short stay. The location is excellent, so tranquil and relaxing. Cabins Our cabin was very clean and extremely spacious, with a good size ensuite. Everything a guest could possibly want or need, and more besides, was thoughtfully provided in the cabin. Our king size bed was so comfortable and actually had one of the best hotel mattresses we have ever slept on. Wish we could have brought it home with us! Staff All the staff were so friendly and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble for them. Restaurant We originally decided to stay at Spicers purely because of the good reports we had heard about the food. We were not disappointed. We had booked their dinner bed and breakfast package and were so glad we had. Our evening meals were so delicious and full of flavour and could not be faulted in any way. The dinner package includes a starter, main course and dessert and not once did we have something we did not like. Portion size was also good and we never left the table feeling hungry. Our first night we had the Banquet and that was unbelievable. Worth a trip from Brisbane just for that alone. Loved absolutely everything so much that we will definitely return."

"We stayed in the charming Alfred room which had a balcony overlooking the lawn, pool and forest out back. The room was large and tastefully decorated. Communications with host Bron were great. The Lodge is on the main street so we could walk to shops, cafes and restaurants. The building is heritage with polished floorboards so not as soundproof as some newer ones. We highly recommend this place for a comfortable stay."

"Fantastic cottage, Tallowood! All we needed for a relaxing 3 day break away for Christmas. Angela and Glenn were great at communicating with us about check in and check out. It was great to sit on the deck and be serenaded by the cicadas and frogs but not hear a single car, in fact the cottage was so private you really didn't know there were other people around, well apart from the distant Hee-Haw of some hungry donkeys, but a few carrots soon settled them !! The kitchen and BBQ can cater for most family cooks,cordon bleu dining is mostly out of the question, but stock up at the Maleny Butcher, and your sorted."
