"I am a big believer in you get what you pay for. If I could give stars for staff then Angela who runs the bar/cafe would get five 🌟 she is such a credit to the place and a lovely lady. She was so friendly and easy to talk to and her dinks/food was spot on! The bar area was exceptional clean also. Maria was also nice and helpful. The apartment we had was very spacious and adequately clean, ground floor so spacious terrace too. The bathroom was a big let down and needs a thorough make over as does the kitchenette area! With a little love and tlc these apartments could be so much better. The pool area was ok although the pools were very cold. The location is superb. Just to the right of the the apartments is the Street Bar and I would highly recommend this place. The food everywhere was delicious. If it’s beauty and luxury you want then please avoid booking but if you can close your eyes to a few things and want somewhere cheap to stay then this is the place. All in all we had a good weeks holiday and will definitely return to Malia (but will choose a different hotel/apartment to stay in.). We could list things that need immediate improvement but are not going to, like I said it was a cheap break, and you get what you pay for!"

"What can we say, from arrival to depart, Akis absolutely looked after us both. From check in, to recommendations of places to visit, restaurants and even offered run us to the airport if our taxi at 3am didn't turn up! The hotel is lovely, clean, and with beautiful gardens, let photos speak for self. Location is perfect, no noise even though close to strip. Peaceful around pool. We had a lovely stay for the week, with Akis and family making us very welcome. Thank you!"

"Absolutely perfect apartments pool area bar snacks spotlessly clean beds comftoble no sunbeds wars rooms have everything u need great shower/hairdryer/toaster/kettle pots and pans would recommend b&b as the breakfast menu is perfect a choice for everyone a wonderful and beautiful family run apartments and will go out of their way to make sure everything is right for your stay prices in the bar are cheap the food is freshly made and lovely great WiFi around pool and in your rooms great music around the pool for u just to chill and relax not too loud can understand why so many people return to this gem of a place in old town Malia and will be returning also don't take notice of the poor reviews they are a load of rubbish just people nit picking wanting to pay 3 star prices but wanting 5 star treatment"

"A lovely place to stay with the lads, walls were thick enough so we couldn’t here robert getting piped . Regardless, a nice place for a lads holiday but you might want to watch out for Ian. He’s an absolute specimen. The pool was lovely on hot days with the lads. Just watch out for Ian. Another review had issues with him as well so maybe it’s a theme."

"Amazing! If you want the best possible experience, I highly recommend taking the beachfront suite. It’s the perfect way to fully enjoy your vacation. The service is amazing, the food is very good, and the cocktails and drinks are excellent. A special thank you to the entire staff — everyone is so polite, friendly, and attentive. They truly take great care of you and make you feel special throughout your stay. A special mention to Didi and Maria, who gave us an amazing massage experience. My wife has never felt so relaxed! We also had the chance to dine at Veranda. Sadly, I forgot the name of our host, but we had such a lovely conversation throughout our dinner, and he took very good care of us. It really made the evening even more special. Absolutely amazing vacation! I have a feeling I’ll be coming back here again. Highly recommended! PS! Swim from the beach to the church on the little island. It’s worth the swim!"

"It's okay for sleeping... don't expect more... meager breakfast, no coffee, black tea... cheese and sausage (one type each, every day) sit on cooler boxes the whole time, which aren't big enough, so you end up with almost melted cheese on your bread... I could complain about many more things, but I'll leave it at that."

Spotless in all areas, the most comfiest bed ever, beautiful tranquil pool area, all run by Marina and her fantastic family. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We have already made plans to return! Sun village made our holiday."

High Beach White - Adults Only
"The "High Beach White" is an adults-only resort—a place for guests who prefer a quieter atmosphere. We had a room with a private pool. The beds and mattresses were incredibly comfortable. I've never slept so well on vacation. It was heavenly. The resort is very clean, and they make sure it stays that way. All the staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. Sun loungers and parasols are assigned to specific room numbers. The food at the High Beach Buffet Restaurant is varied—there's something for everyone. The "Elia Restaurant" also offers à la carte dining. Brunch is served at 10:30, followed by a three-course menu or snacks from 12:00, and a five-course menu from 18:30 (table reservations required the day before). Absolutely delicious! For guests with UAI (All Inclusive) at the resort, snacks and refreshments are even delivered to their sun loungers. Absolutely fantastic! The evening program features concerts (traditional Greek music), DJs, and dance groups (traditional Cretan dances). If you're looking for relaxation with a touch of luxury, then the "High Beach White" is a must-visit in Malia. It's the place to be! We had a wonderful 14 days and lacked for nothing. A huge thank you to all the staff. Every single one contributed to making our holiday a dream come true."

Akrogiali Beach Hotel Apartments
"I don't accept Akrogiali Garden apartment 30 (next to the hostess). Having a drink and a chat on your terrace at night is impossible because Mrs. Loula has to get up early in the morning. The bathroom is so small that everything gets wet. There's a leak when the upstairs neighbors shower, and there's a view of a construction site and a washing machine. The two men at the pool bar are overly present, which some people appreciate, but we don't. The WiFi is very poor. The beach beds are fine and clean. The distance to the beach is manageable. It's a nice but touristy town. The man and woman behind the reception desk are very friendly. This also applies to the young man and young woman at the pool bar."

"Didn’t stay at the apartments but used the cafe/bar and beach beds daily. Super comfy beds and great food with friendly staff. Thank you for the raki with honey which was delicious. Great place not to be missed. Beach beds are 10€ per day but so luxurious. Very clean toilets at rear of bar. Thank you guys."

"Just wanted to say that we had a great stay. It was 3* and it did exactly what it was supposed to. Rooms basic but cleaned daily, food had a good range of choices, probably missing something for younger ones with plain tastes like nuggets or pizza but overall very tasty! Nice pool, no fights for sunbeds, staff very friendly and helpful. It is up a hill and we were right at the top but that is made clear when you boom it. Great location, right on the bus route and a ten minute walk to Stalis"

Hotel is at bottom of the strip so 1min walk and your on the stip Breakfast was good you choose what you want each day. Charlie's bar is a really good laugh drinks very reasonable prices. Ate here a few times as well as eating out brilliant food and again great value. Transfer from airport was about 40mins."
