The rooms were very comfortable, the bathrooms clean and modern, the common areas very pleasant and welcoming, all in a beautiful location facing the port. And the food!: we were served a wonderful dinner for 10 which was outstanding: foie gras appetizer, followed by the main meal of fish (St. Pierre) or veal, and a delicious dessert. Excellent choice of wines. All was beautifully presented, the service was friendly and very efficient, and we had a great time. Also, a very nice breakfast was offered in the morning. Highly recommended."

"Retour from a group stay of 32 retired persons in the VVF of Portbail. I especially appreciated the reception, service, cleanliness, location organisation, animation, meals, staff gentleness ... briefly I spent a very, very good stay with the group friends. We have made very beautiful excursions, balades and visits around. Only a day in Jersey Island where we had to travel in a bus that took water in several places, while rain fell, and had a degonfled tyre!!!! The hotel is a very nice hotel, and it is a very nice hotel."

"Not much to say … only good stuff! Nice welcome at reception when we checked in earlier than planned. We got touristic advice to go around and they kept our big suitcases. We unfortunately didn’t get parking as they were full.. all reserved (NB: trip.com never discussed that we had to book the parking, this is something Accor and Trip.com should discuss about as this is now our 2nd encounter of this problem…. Coming from Malaysia and renting a car, this is not helping… we had no idea we had to reserve parking) The bedroom was very nice, pretty balcony but small bathroom… especially given the placement of the toilet…. lol. But never mind. Nice deck of the bedroom and the hotel too… themed on Christian Dior and fashion, we liked that ☺️ Last the breakfast and its location: beautiful. The view of the sea is really good, the furniture is nicely chosen, and the food is good. First time I see a « make your sunny side up eggs yourself » set in a hotel, which was cool."

"We were not aware from the booking that there was no bathroom in the room, and it was a shock to discover that the toilets were shared and that there wasn’t even a sink in the toilets. There was neither hand soap nor towels. It was difficult to access our room, and we ended up getting help from the neighboring hotel. The hotel was very noisy, with a lot of disturbance from other guests, and we were woken up many times during the night. Overall, it was a really bad experience that we would not recommend."

"It was an incredible experience to stay in such a cute fairy-tale-like house for about 40,000 yen per room for my family! It makes me feel like I've bought a house in France. The garden is beautiful, and there are plenty of amenities (soap, coffee, tea, hair dryer, towels, etc.). The staff was also kind, and it was a very comfortable stay. The only disappointment was that the signal was too weak and I couldn't connect to Wi-Fi. However, the staff made their best effort to connect to the free signal, and since I have an eSIM, it wasn't a big problem. The problem was my father. In the first place, I wonder why he had to bring work with him on a trip, and he was frustrated that he couldn't use his PC and work, even though there are plenty of ways to do it, such as tethering. So, if you are staying, please come after finishing your work. If you do that, you will have a really wonderful experience. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to have the elegant experience of having breakfast on a nice terrace. But it was a wonderful inn that I would like to come back again just for that experience! Given the location of the town, it's not an easy place to travel to, but I think Japanese people especially love this place. It has an atmosphere and scenery that you definitely won't find in Japan... I can understand why people from overseas want to stay in a traditional Japanese house. I'm half wanting everyone to know about it, and half wanting to keep it a secret forever. There are plenty of beds, and the toilet and shower room are separate!"

"This place is absolutely stunning. Quiet, and the hosts are amazingly friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and inviting. The rooms are cozy and I had the best sleep during my trip here. Breakfast is flexible and the host will work around your schedule as needed, great spread of French breakfast items. Despite the cold temps the rooms are warm and inviting. Nearby to many war memorials so it is a quick drive to museums and other sites. Highly recommended."
