One of the absolute highlights was the amazing pool overlooking the ocean. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the unbelievably friendly staff who made us feel so welcome. A perfect stay in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!"

"You can go closed to the hotel: the location is perfect, in the centre, close to all the restaurants recommended for tourists, the rooms are clean, large and air-conditioned, with wifi. The staff is very friendly and the top breakfast (fresh fruit, house cakes, salt and sugar) !"

"The best overall experience of our entire round trip. Two nights. A lovely, though fairly small, room. Excellent bed, finally nicely “cushioned” and comfortable. Powerful air conditioning. Very clean. At night, it can be a bit noisy due to the central location, when people are talking in the street or the occasional car passes by. But that’s the trade-off for having the best central location in Mindelo. We could easily walk everywhere from here. The real highlight, however, is the team. A wonderfully warm and appreciative welcome by Paula. Doorman John was also fantastic – he even walked us almost all the way to the restaurant we wanted late in the evening. The manager and all the other staff were equally outstanding at all times, whether it was giving tips about Mindelo or restaurants, or organizing an English-speaking taxi driver with the best vehicle we had anywhere in Cape Verde, fairly priced, too. Then this: on our last morning, our own pre-booked taxi didn’t arrive on time very early in the morning, and the staff member immediately offered to arrange a replacement vehicle. He then waited upstairs on the terrace by reception until we were safely on our way. Wow. We’ve rarely experienced such a consistently service-oriented, friendly, and helpful hotel team. Breakfast was good as well. The tables used earlier could have been cleared for later guests, but overall that was fine. And definetly no reason not to come back.. We would definitely stay here again!"

Despite the cold location of my room and the senecuteness of the place, I loved the classical environment, staff and facility inside the room, I loved Patrick who shared the conversation and you who greeted at breakfast."

"Just a bit outdated rooms, but still a nice place to stay. The breakfast is great with a lot to choose for. The staff goes beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. We have never experienced hotel staff this helpful. We ate once at the restaurant, maybe we got unlucky but on that one visit we would not recommend. The beach bar from the same owners did have good food."

"A delightful hotel. Room very good with all one would expect, breakfast excellent and can be taken in a lovely courtyard. The roof terrace. Is very comfortable for relaxing. Staff very helpful The hotel is in town so easy to walk everywhere. Would love to visit again."
