"The booking had been confirmed by the hotel, and when we arrived in the mid-afternoon of March 3rd, the manager had rented our room directly without informing us! He did nothing, didn't apologize, saying he had too many no-shows from tourists booked through ***********! Ten minutes after our arrival, another family arrived and was told they didn't have a room either!!! Luckily, we had booked through a local agency that found us a room at the Froy Brancas. During Carnival, everything is full... avoid this hotel!"

"We had an apartment overlooking the pool & seafront, fantastic views! Very comfortable furnishings with everything we needed. Elise, the agent, was fantastic, spoke excellent english, so helpful with organising taxis & telling us information. She also organised a taxi guide when we visited Sao Antao, which is a must! Absolutely beautiful. The pool & the area around it was very clean & lovely & peaceful, sometimes just us. We would definitely go back."
