"Booked a panoramic balcony suite - room was fantastic all you could need, x2 bathrooms, kitchenette, living area and large bed and balcony with views. The buffet breakfast had a wide range of choices and was to high standard and well stocked - really enjoyed it ! I ate a snack on the evening in the mezzanine bar, it was ok but not amazing. The quality of the red wine and attentive service in the bar was very good. Checkin and out quick and very well organised and lovely communicative staff. My personal preferences, would be that in the evenings there is a buffet meal option, rather than pre booked restaurant or pizza as it is somewhat limiting. And minor but attention to details - a suggestion that the room stock only local/Portuguese products such as the water, should really be from Monchqiue... and provided toiletries felt a bit random a mix of English and Portuguese - felt a bit like what was just leftover rather than a collaboration and quality there. Overall excellent stay and will definitely be back."

"The hotel is in a beautiful location with several different types of rooms. It was supposed to be 4*. We stayed at the cheaper hotel although it was not cheap. The spa and treatment was good. The service was terrible as there was no tea and coffee in the rooms. They only provided water on the first day. There was no room service in a 4* hotel!! The reception I our hotel was part time and you had to contact the main reception a 5 minute walk away, this was disconcerting for me. The food at breakfast was less than adequate and they ran out of teabags on our 2nd day!! It's a remote location so we had dinner at their restaurant. The food was awful. There were 2 options fish and duck. The fish has become tough and was tasteless and the duck was tasteless. My husband and I had salads and bread. Definitely wouldn't recommend it"

"Waste of money. I’m currently here now and after paying a fortune, they say we have to pay 15euros to access the spa. Okay fine, now we go to the spa and they say it’s 15 euros for 1.5 hours. They say it’s on the website but I searched everywhere çant see that. We also paid extra for a Luxury room and they only give coffee in the Suites which are 500 euros. Do not come here."

"It is a nice hotel,but a locatian that is not great near the Monchique water industrial factory Service is regular but refunds for services they couldn’t provide awfull..bought 2 vouchers with massages that were booked bur they couldn’t fullfill and still waiting for the refund 2 weeks later… totally unacceptable and not undignified Could not recommend at all"
