"We stayed in the Gulf Locanda and were really impressed by experience. A elegant wine resort in the quiet of the Sicilian countryside and the beauty of the nature, where comfort, detail care and refined atmosphere are perfectly smelled. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and unfair; the pool and relaxing spaces allow you to live moments of absolute wellness in a very quiet environment. The high quality of the offer is already perceived from breakfast, with selected products. The possibility of lunch or dinner on the site as well as the purchase of wines from the cantine further values the link with the territory. "A great country hotel with convenient parking, good environment, and a very rich breakfast with freshly squeezed juice and nuts. The room is spacious and you can cook. It is the most comfortable meal in the past few days. It will not be killed by the salty outside, and you can eat a lot of vegetable leaves. Highly recommended to stay! Upstairs and downstairs can accommodate five people."

"The property is located right in the historic center. It's not accessible by car, but a 10-minute walk. The Duomo is a 5-minute walk from the property. The property is clean. There are breakfast bars nearby."

"This hotel is in a great location , in the centre of town by a square. The rooms are a good side and staff friendly . On the negative side it has seem better day, with paint coming off the walls, mould in the showers and door sticking . The staff seemed aware of the issues, but took no action, it would not take much to make this hotel great."

"Ambivalent about the rating. The hotel had amazing views of Modica across the valley from breakfast room and outside relaxing area. It had a nice pool people seemed to like. Satff were good, especially Leonardo. THe downside and reason for lower rating is that they're disingennuous about location. It states 300m from town centre...yes, maybe, but down a path that is quite steep in places which you don't want to use if you're elderly, unfit, or in our case the temperatire is 35C! The same was true of distances given to local restaurants. OK if you have a car and want to drive, but we chose hotel because it was supposedly close to the centre. The best way to get there was by the little white tourist train!! Also walking to station is quite uphill."

"We stayed in hotels for two weeks on a bike ride through Sicily. This hotel sticks out in my mind because of the owners and how much they care about their hotel. It was their nona's house, and they treat it and their guests with a caring attitude and respect. The views from the balconies were amazing. Breakfast was lovely. The garden is beautiful. Everything about this hotel says we care about you and your experience here with us."
