"Location is good. Have sufficient parking space. Room was clean. There was some smell like dampness in the room, but they arranged for diffuser which helped. Beds were comfortable and we had good sleep. Overall, it's a good stay. Only feedback is about the food, which definitely needs lot of improvement. We tried ordering ala-carte first night, and literally throwed entire food. It was one of the worst I had, and it's expensive. I would give it 0/5 for Value for Money. Breakfast is okay. Limited options, but you can find something to eat. For live counters, have dosa and omelet. Service is slow, during breakfast. So may be, you should plan to have food outside, while you stay here (until the hotel make necessary improvements in food quality)."

"Property is extremely overpriced, they have not maintained the property, not cleaning the pool for a month it seems and the balcony pillow was completely black, no ambiance, not sufficient place to walk around inside the property also, no tourist places nearby, they don't have even basic things in the room like clean towel, telephone, toothbrush, kettle, there staff will knock the gate every 30mintues for everything since they dont have anything else to communicate. You can easily get this kind of property for 3-4k. They are taking 26k+taxes which comes to around 35k for just one day its extremely overpriced."

"A Horrendous Experience at Grand Mercure Mysore Our stay at Grand Mercure Mysore was a complete letdown from start to finish. The issues began at check-in with major communication gaps and incompetent room allocation. Despite booking 2 rooms with elderly and kids, we were offered rooms on separate floors, forcing us to wait hours while the staff fumbled for a solution. Luggage handling was equally chaotic—our bags remained unattended, and we had to retrieve our car keys ourselves just to get them delivered. The management showed no willingness to help, refused to process a refund for a downgraded room, and remained dismissive throughout. Service at breakfast was shockingly poor—a 20-minute wait for an omelette speaks volumes about their carelessness and inefficiency. This was a stay marred by inexperienced staff, disorganized processes, and management’s refusal to take accountability. For a hotel of this stature, such a lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting even basic hospitality."

"Unfortunately, the level of this hotel has decreased. The following problems are currently being observed: - the quality of service suffers, it's trivial to forget to clean your room, which I haven't seen anywhere for a long time.; - they forget to bring the laundry without a reminder; Previously, these problems were not observed. A separate problem, which unfortunately was present before, is breakfast. By the time breakfast is opened, most of the dishes are missing, the omelet tastes poor, there are practically no dishes for Europeans, and those that are quite mediocre. In general, there is not even a choice of vegetables for breakfast, you can take either an omelet, baked beans, boiled eggs, or oatmeal porridge (unfortunately, they cannot cook it properly). Everything else is local food that is interesting to try, but it is problematic to eat it daily, taking into account other eating habits and diet. If you stay for more than two days, then you should think about where to have breakfast. By the way, regarding breakfast, I completely did not understand why such a false sign stands near the restaurant, as you can understand that logically, according to experience, by 10 a.m. the load will be the highest and breakfast will be a separate task, you may not even be able to find a place for yourself"

"Disappointing Experience at zest Hotel While the hotel itself is good, the zest restaurant within it is a letdown. During my visit, the staff repeatedly asked which room I was from, a question that felt intrusive and unnecessary. Given the frequency of this inquiry – at least 5 times – it seemed like a clear case of mismanaged guest information or poor communication among staff. The restaurant's service fell short of what I'd expect from a 5-star hotel. Perhaps it's time for the hotel to reassess its rating or improve its service standards to match its luxury status. Until then, I'd caution others about the restaurant's shortcomings. "
