"i visited this place for nine nights hotel was nice but the food is terrible the all incusive is only on bulgarian drinks which are like poison and the adults entertainment is rubbish mainly for kids staff great but definetely not a five star more of a three i would not recommend this place as it seems to be only for kids we were very disappointed would never return to bulgaria again"

"Great hotel, friendly staff, convenient location. Room - spacious, comfortable bed, TV connectable to phone, USB ports by the bed, tea, coffee in the room, first load in the mini fridge free, nice view. Amenities - pool smaller than we expected, but plenty of loungers, two bars, animation activities available, spa - had a great back massage, rooftop terrace quite windy - great on hot days, food - breakfast - English and continental, local salami and cheese, fresh veg and fruit, morning fizzy wine available, lunch and dinner - every day different style cuisine, good choice, I'm on a low fat diet and still could choose, delicious soups, superb desserts, free 6-course dinner (book ASAP). Small beach in front of the hotel, just a few flights of stairs, bigger beach with loungers 300 m. Old Nessebar with lots of restaurants within walking distance, bus stop in front of the hotel. International clientele - majority British. Overall, great choice."

"I was informed by Trip.com that the Mirage Hotel I had booked would be closed, so they offered to change my reservation to a nearby hotel. Their communication and handling of the situation was excellent, and I was able to stay at the hotel without any problems, which was great."

"Did not enjoy it here, staff rude, food terrible with ridiculous ques. Sauna. Steam room and Turkish bath beds all out of order. Jacuzzi is cold, pool has dirts corners and broken filters. Sunbeds are dirty and tatty. The snack bar is poor, drinks spilt on floor not cleaned up. The only positives for us were the air conditioning and the WiFi. Don’t waste your money!!!!"

"I chose this hotel because of it's location to the beach and Nessebar old town which were both fantastic. The second factor was its spa facilities which were non existent. There was a steam room and Sauna that were rarely turned on and one masseur who would lear at the ladies on the beach. There was no way his hands were coming anywhere near me. Really disappointing. The beach was lovely but the 'beach service ' assistant was awful. Rude is an understatement. We went to the beach once and he was so obnoxious when we took an ashtray from a bed that, we were to find out later, could be rented at extra cost. He was so aggressive and snatched the ashtray away without any explanation. He then sat all day snearing at the guests. We used the pool after this. The pool was lovely but, yet again, the pool assistant was rude and unwelcoming. We were not told that you needed a ticket to take a beach towel. He very sharply pointed to the desk and barked at us and everyone else who were ill informed about this on arrival. The loungers were plentiful but hard plastic with no padding, making them extremely uncomfortable. I had 2 of my own towels but they were not enough to make them any easier to lay on. The pool bar was ok but the cocktails at the lounge bar were much nicer. The food was ok. Typical of most all inclusive hotels. Breakfast was the best meal of the day. The only negative comment would be that nothing was ever hit enough. The dining room staff were refreshingly friendly. The hotel was clean but the rooms were tired. Our curtains didn't even fit the windows but it was clean enough. Sadly I wouldn't recommend this hotel, purely due to the rudeness of the staff. I don't expect red carpet treatment but a smile and respectful manner should be the minimum requirement when hiring staff."

"We stayed there one night. It was lovely. Large room. Comfortable bed. Nice side terrace where we could see the sea and eat outside. Yes, we could see the neighbors from the hotel next door, but it wasn't a big deal. The beach is a 2-minute walk away, which is fantastic. Friendly welcome (note that they only speak Bulgarian). Old Nessebar is easily accessible by car."
