Mercure Hotel Nijmegen Centre ★★★★
"Relaxte sfeer, toplocatie voor bezoek asn Doornroosje en gratis koffie to go service. En parkeren is ook fijn naast het hotel tegen een schappelijke dagprijs. Kortom wij komen terug."
Bastion Hotel Nijmegen ★★★★
"The hotel is good and cozy. I love it❤️"
Sanadome Hotel & Spa Nijmegen ★★★★
"We enjoyed our stay, especially the wellness."
Hotel Credible ★★★
"Anyone used to hotel chains and expecting that standard shouldn't stay here. While the night, and especially the breakfast, costs the same as in good four-star hotels, the quality unfortunately doesn't exceed two stars. The hotel is unusual, reminding me of my student dorm from the 1990s. If you want to step back into the alternative scene of that era, this is the place for you. The seating is reminiscent of a student cafeteria from that time. Our student union building looked pretty much the same. Personally, I don't feel comfortable there, but the hotel is outrageously overpriced. The stairwell is run-down, steep, and has a filthy carpet. The room was mostly clean, though very cheaply furnished. The bed frame was stained, but the mattress was great; we slept well. If you absolutely need German TV channels on a large screen, this is the wrong place. But Nijmegen has so much going on that a TV is unnecessary anyway. Who needs a hairdryer when you can have a lake of water in front of the toilet after a shower? All in all, more negatives than positives. The breakfast buffet hardly deserves the name. On the plus side, it offered three vegan spreads, muesli, and oat milk, making it suitable for vegans. Most large hotels can't manage that. The fact that you have to cut your own cucumber, meaning it's touched by every guest, is just a minor annoyance. Overall, the pricing is completely opaque, and for over €20, the breakfast feels very, very meager. In conclusion: We still slept well, which, at least for me, was mainly due to the nostalgic feeling of my student days. I just wonder what kind of clientele this hotel is trying to attract. People our age prefer cleaner and more comfortable accommodations. Students simply can't afford these prices."
Boutique Hotels Manna & Blue ★★★
"We booked the High Tea but we were extremely disappointed with it. It cost €58 for 2ppl and the food was not fresh. We expected home made food but it was 90% dry small cakes, one made of dough with custard in it. The savoury was a bought-in hard pale pastry case and plain prawns. The scone hard like a rock and too thin to cut it in half. It just was all very weird to say the least and not to any standard you’d expect. I felt quite nauseous with just sweet cakes as this was supposed to be a late lunch. We mentioned this to the staff and 4 weeks later (after investigation with the chef) we were told the food is made with love. And due to the economic climate, more people are asking for their money back. Well… what can you say to that. I think they use the same marketing greenwashing ‘made with love’ as do Hema, who also admit to buying their food in. If a chef can’t make their own pastry or a scone for an expensive High Tea…. we will not be going back."
Van der Valk Cuijk - Nijmegen ★★★★
"Satisfactory stay"
Van der Valk Hotel Nijmegen-Lent ★★★★
"The room was clean, but it was a bit cold, and there was no bottled water or electric kettle."
De Gulden Waagen ★★★★
"The hotel is fantastically located in the city center. There's no staff on site. In the evening, the lobby had been transformed into a bicycle shed. Unfortunately, the room was only half vacuumed. Coffee, tea, and water were provided in the room, but the kettle was completely calcified. Water from the shower floods the entire bathroom floor. For breakfast, you have to go to another hotel down the street. With a little more attention, this could perhaps be a four-star hotel, but it absolutely isn't! Contrary to what the sign outside says."
Hotel Courage Nijmegen ★★★
"Great little hotel ideal for short break. Breakfast selection not the greatest but all good quality."
