Bastion Hotel Nijmegen
"A beautiful hotel. Excellent service, there had been smoke in the room so it smelled really bad. We got a new room without any problem."
Sanadome Hotel & Spa Nijmegen
"You pay 10 euros per day for paying at the hotel. It is not indicated anywhere on the front page of trip. The parking spaces are so small that damage to your car is inevitable. For 265 euros per night you can't even get a free bathrobe. You have to rent one. For exactly the same thermal bath in Aachen a few kilometers further you pay 1/3 of this price and then you have a cottage and while I am writing this review the price has dropped by 23% (60 euros) within a month. In short, you are quickly riled up again. What a bunch of scammers"
Hotel Credible
"This would not be the usual sort of hotel I would book, but Hotel Credible was recommended to me by the person I was visiting. It is a little bit quirky but that is what makes it fantastic. The room itself is small but ideal for a stay of a couple of days. Clean and did not look tired like some big chain hotels. I had a comfy and quiet sleep. I did not have a chance to sample the restaurant in the evening as had other plans. However, had a great breakfast the next day which closed off my stay."
Hotel Pauw
"The hotel and restaurant are integrated. Except for the utility room where luggage is stored, it is quite acceptable in other aspects. The location is great, with several major pedestrian streets and the cathedral nearby."
Mercure Hotel Nijmegen Centre
"The hotel is located right next to the train station which is very convenient. It’s very easy to find and is also close (short walking distance) to the city center of Nijmegen. The check-in was very efficient and smooth. The room was neat and I liked the desk feature, perfect for work or study if needed. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff."
Van der Valk Hotel Nijmegen-Lent
"There were no issues with the hotel's location or cleanliness. However, I would like to offer my opinion regarding the response from the front desk staff. I stayed at the hotel using an electric vehicle and attempted to charge it at the charging station in the hotel parking lot. However, the charging machine was outdated and only accepted QR codes or dedicated charging cards for payment. In a situation where I was unable to charge, I asked for help from another guest who was charging nearby. They said that if I paid the approximate charging amount in cash, they would allow me to charge using their charging card. Thanks to them, the charging started. The problem arose when I woke up in the morning and the charge was complete; however, when I tried to disconnect the charging cable, I could not because the card of the person who had used it initially was missing. Therefore, I went to the front desk and asked the staff to contact the cardholder who was staying at the hotel, but they flatly stated that the person was not staying at the hotel. I had mentioned the person's name and that they were staying on the 11th floor when we spoke yesterday, but they abruptly refused to help. I then asked them to make a local call to the charging company, but they refused that as well. Left with no other choice, I contacted the company via international roaming and managed to disconnect the cable with difficulty, finally allowing me to leave the hotel. Please think about it. When a foreigner from the other side of the world is experiencing such difficulties, if you, as a hotel employee, had even a little bit of kindness, couldn't you have listened to them, connected them to the guest, or made the call on their behalf? If that was difficult due to security concerns, couldn't you have used a local phone to connect them or find a solution? I was hurt by the coldness of both front desk staff members, and even though all the other staff tried their best, I have no choice but to rate the friendliness of the staff at the Van der Valk Nijmegen Hotel low. Thank you."
The Rebyl, Nijmegen, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
"Good quality price ratio, hospitable staff and close to the center. In terms of facilities also fine; nice bed, large TV with Netflix, , fridge and nice rain shower. You can park in front of the door (P Vierdaagseplein), I spent a little more than 4 euros in the weekend so that was very reasonable."
De Gulden Waagen
"When we arrived around 11 pm, there was no one at reception. After a phone call, I was let in and had to have my room key programmed over the phone. The first room we were given hadn't even been cleaned. After a second phone call, we were given a different room. Unfortunately, this room was very cold; the heating didn't work well. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. The location is excellent."
Guesthouse Vertoef
"Ok … I recommend it"
