Norfolk Waterside Marriott ★★★★
"Everything was perfect, room looks just like the pictures posted, the staff was very nice overall had a great time"
Hilton Norfolk The Main ★★★★★
" Normally I would not pay nearly $400 for a hotel room, but it was convenient to our appointment. The room was nice, but not clean. There was a used facial cotton on the floor behind the trash can, a small wad of hair clinging to the wall by the mirror, and crumbs on the carpet by one of the windows. We paid for breakfast with our room rate and it was ok. Good variety, but the only thing I would say that made it above average was the variety of fresh fruit. The coffee was awful. We had dinner in Saltine and it was good. "
Courtyard Norfolk Downtown ★★★
"The location is great. The downtown restaurant and Noticus and waterside are all about 10 minutes walk. I used the room on the fourth floor and the cleaning was good. The air conditioner was also well adjusted. The water pressure in the shower was weak, but the hot water came out well. I used self-parking and parked at the MacArthur Center across the back door. The first two hours were free and $10 a day. The bar in the lobby was not used. There is a banding machine at the reception. It's hard to see what's on the guide sign or on the floor. I didn't know there was a swimming pool on the sixth floor."
Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel ★★★★
"The facilities are very old! There is no problem with hygiene."
Wyndham Garden Norfolk Downtown ★★★
"They were generally friendly. I doubt the housekeeping was thorough. On the first day, a clump of unidentified hair was found on the shower towel."
The Inn at Four Eleven York ★★★★
"Room is incredibly comfortable: high end bedding, bar cart with free snacks, fresh ice provided each day, plenty of charging ports, fireplace (didn’t use because it is May!), iron & steamer (!!), large bathroom with walk in shower and heated floors! Inn manager very responsive. On site restaurant was exceptional. Breakfast was tasty with wonderful coffee but menu was limited. Extra charge for toast ($3/slice!) or fruit. Would prefer just serving a fruit and creative main course (different each day) to everyone like traditional B&Bs do."
Best Western Plus Holiday Sands Inn Suites ★★★
"A nice motel with a good breakfast. It's right on the beach, so you can stroll along it. There are washers and dryers. We had a two-room suite, but I don't know if all of them are like that."
Spark by Hilton Norfolk ★★★
"We stayed for a night. The beds were comfy and room was clean. Staff was very nice! Would stay again when we do our trips to Norfolk."
Delta Hotels Norfolk Airport ★★★
"I had items stolen from my room after the first cleaning. There has been zero promises kept and zero engagement now 6 days after the incident. Mgmt promised an investigation and calls. I didnt get calls. I had to seek out the GM of the hotel. When I finally spoke about my issues, I was asked what it would take to make me satisfied. I told the mgr if they removed 50% of the cost of the stay, that would satisfy me. It has now been 4 days since my conversation with mgmt, and I still have not been contacted back by the hotel mgr. No calls, no emails, no follow up. I have now had to place the entire charge on hold and refuse to pay, as Delta Hotel by Marriott at the Norfolk Airport location has no idea how to settle a dispute with a sticky fingered room cleaner and an upset guest who simply wanted their items back."
