Walking distance from train station. Nice decor. Warm reception. Modern but still chic room and comfortable bed. Appreciated small fridge too.

Check-in was great. Everything clearly and efficiently explained. We were even escorted to our room. For an old building, they have a great tiny lift that can carry luggage/one person (without luggage!) to the higher floors (3 stories about ground level). Floors are a bit creaky and some of the steps are uneven. Nevertheless it was quiet at night. Wonderful garden and courtyard. Helpful staff. Good mid-town location with easy parking. Definitely need a car in the area (e.g. if you’re planning a Mont Saint-Michel trip (about 12 minutes drive away). Recommended 🙂

Nice stay. Check-in was very accommodating as we arrived early. They allowed is to drop off our luggage a d then gave us a room key in case we were late getting back to the hotel after touring. The room was nice. Weird “showering” in a bathtub. There was an elevator there unlike one I’ve seen or used before (see photo.) Reception was a little late for our check out but we were still in time for our train.

Our room had a nice outside patio that was quiet and private. The bar is nice and quiet. The room was exceptionally clean and the hosts were kind and accommodating to us non-French speakers.

Very classic property with a lot of old world charm. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only downside was that the bath was a handheld sprayer without a shower
