"The Panorama Hotel Oberjoch is a beautiful, quietly located hotel. The initial contact by phone was not good and rather rude and unfriendly. Thankfully, the tone changed after we made the reservation. The room was nice. However, at that price, I expect different amenities (no bathtub), and the mattress wasn't comfortable either. I wish the reception had informed us about the option of having a minibar delivered to the room. The spa area is nice, but there are too few loungers. The lunch buffet is unfortunately very limited and hardly worth mentioning. The cake buffet is of poor quality. There are no freshly baked cakes, which is very disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. Breakfast is adequate, but nothing more. The bread baskets were frequently empty and were refilled far too late. The fruit selection is also quite good in the early morning, but it is insufficiently replenished (strawberries, for example, are seasonal). The hot chocolate was machine-made and much too sweet and watery. I had completely different expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean, but I find the carpeting in the restaurant area unhygienic. One employee simply swept the breadcrumbs from the table by hand and let them fall on the floor. Astonishing and unacceptable in a hotel that charges such prices. All in all, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this hotel. It's in a good location, but the price-performance ratio isn't right. We won't be coming back."

"Came here for a four-day work conference Hotel is right in the heart of the town; limited private and secure parking a hundred or so meters to the side. Warm welcome. Given a room on the first floor. Room was modern, spacious, well furnished, with a large balcony,, which means it can be loud at night. Bed was comfy. Bathroom tight with a powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Decent breakfast included. Recommended."

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel for 2 nights in spring. A great environment to relax. First of all, the air in Oberstaufen is extremely refreshing and smells nice. Although the room we stayed in was standard, it was very spacious and consisted of a bedroom, a living room and two bathrooms. The bed was extremely comfortable and clean. Both rooms had large screen TVs. Also the sofa in the living room was so comfortable you almost didn't want to get up. The hotel offers delicious and varied breakfast and dinner. Additionally, hotel's gym, pool and spa services were top class. We had a good time with the pool and the nearby hiking activities. All the staff, especially manager, were extremely attentive, they showed interest like a family business. Thank you for that. I would like to stay again and recommend it to everyone."

"The hotel looks very nice from the outside. It’s located in the middle of the village, and you can reach every destination from there. Our room was clean and spacious. They got a strange policy that you can chose not to have your room cleaned for environmental reasons. I’m familiar to have an option for not changing your towels, but not to leave out the whole room. The staff responsible for breakfast and the restaurant is overwhelmed with their tasks. A lot of running around that results in disappointing service. There’re better options available for a better price. The management is arrogant and didn’t give me the feeling that I was a welcome guest. When addressing the room cleaning policy issue, we received an arrogant and rude answer. I’m not paying to get insulted."
