SU Hotel
"The hotel is very close to the lake. However, if you're coming from another city and the bus station is further from the lake, you'll have to take a taxi, making the location inconvenient. The lakeside street below the hotel is very lively, bustling until midnight. Many young men and women are eating snacks like egg waffles. It's about a 15-minute walk to the old town. The hotel elevator is rather small. The hotel is very clean, and the breakfast is delicious. Overall, this hotel is excellent for a vacation, but less convenient for business travelers in a rush. I recommend it for a relaxing getaway."
Villa Old Town
"A lovely little stay in a fantastic location. Room was spacious and had what was needed. Close to Old Bazzar and walking distance to the port, beaches and churches."
Villa Chingo
"It's just too far from the ancient city. It would be convenient if you drive yourself... Because I don't have a car and the public transportation in Ohrid is not convenient, I changed hotels later. The owner sent me to the new hotel for free. Thank you very much!"
Hotel Granit
"We stayed for 10 nights. The rooms are as has been previously mentioned small and dated but OK as you don't spend too much time in the room. I'd recommend a Lake View room as the sunsets are lovely. The food was nice and there was plenty if you eat no later than 8.30. After this time the staff start clearing away, Either get there earlier than 8.30 pm or be prepared to get all your dishes at one hit. I should have suggested to the staff that a microwave would be a great addition to the restaurant as sometimes the meals were lukewarm as is the norm in this part of Europe. Anyway apart from the early evening meal times everything else was fine. The staff are lovely once you smile and are friendly. Once you make the effort to be friendly they are friendly back. Maybe a throwback from the soviet times? The hotel is a short taxi ride, about 5 euros, from the town of Ohrid. The lakeside restaurants are lovely. I feel that once North Macedonia is "discovered" as a tourist destination things will get busier and more expensive. Get there before it does! Happy to answer any questions."
Villa Maki
"We were vey comfortable in the room and the location is fabulous! The owners were lovely and very easy going. The building itself is a bit dated and you can see where renos would help the appeal, but none of it impacted our enjoyment of our stay."
Villa Pupin Saraiste
"Host never showed up."
Apartments LAVO
Villa Varosh
"Great location and charming atmosphere! The spot is very close to the sightseeing points and convenient. The overall vibe and setting of the hotel were delightful. Highly recommended."
Bogdanoski Studios & Guest Rooms
"The owner is very friendly and the king bed is soft and comfy as well."

Vila Europa
"We are a Norwegian well travelled couple in our mid-50s who stayed at Vila Europa for a week, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful holiday for us. Despite the road running right past it, the location is remarkably peaceful. It’s a small boutique hotel with just 12 rooms, and the service is fantastic. Housekeeping came every day. The hotel’s private beach is just across the road, equipped with high-quality sun loungers and parasols. This little beach offers the same sense of calm and relaxation as the hotel itself, with a subtle touch of understated exclusivity. The food is outstanding too, and the restaurant service matches it. Its popularity and quality are evident from the fact that it’s well attended by guests staying elsewhere, not just hotel guests. If you’d like to visit the town of Ohrid, it’s easily reached by local minibus, which runs every half hour and takes just 15 minutes. We had an incredible week here and were wonderfully looked after, in beautiful, tranquil surroundings. For the record, we have no connection to the owners or staff, and we are not being paid or compensated in any way for this review — these are simply our honest impressions as guests. In short: Vila Europa is a little paradise by Ohrid, and we recommend it as warmly as possible."

Hotel Bluebell
"Hotel rooms are very dated, need remodeling. From the beds to the lights in the hallways. But for the price it’s a good value with free parking and an elevator to all 5 floors. Breakfast included. Laki Hotel was fully booked, so we tried this one."
Hotel Drim
"I visit every year Struga town and every year i choose Hotel Drim . I am guest of this hotel from 2002 year. Here you can find silence, good staf, good food good rooms. The parking area is so big . The lobby area is nice and confortable. I recommanted this Hotel to spend your holidays every summer"
Hotel Lebed
"Although the location right by the lake is quite nice — about 1.5 km from the center — our experience at Hotel Lebed was far from satisfactory. We arrived through a travel agency and were surprised to learn that our room did not have a lake view. When we asked about it, the response was both unpleasant and dismissive. It seemed to be an arbitrary decision made by the person in charge, who didn’t speak English and made no effort to explain or offer alternatives — even though we would have gladly paid extra for a better room. We also had to go back to reception to request pillow covers, as the extra pillows came without any. No one answered the phone in the room, and there were no instructions on how to use it or which number to call. The TV remote was broken (the battery cover was missing), and the batteries had to be replaced. The staff eventually changed them — but it took over an hour. The bathroom was the most disappointing part: there were no towel racks, no hooks, and even the toilet paper had no holder. To make things worse, I found an insect I couldn’t identify. The overall maintenance was poor, and the curtains were so thin that sunlight hit our faces starting at 6 AM — making it impossible to sleep. Breakfast was modest and not particularly memorable. Unfortunately, I would not return to this hotel, and I would not recommend it."
Millenium Palace
"In July 2025, my family and I stayed at Hotel Ohrid, located on the shores of Lake Ohrid. Rooms facing the front have lake views, but those at the back overlook a side road and the backyard, which isn't very appealing. Ohrid city center is a 15-20 minute walk away. The rooms are very small and cramped; the hotel and its architecture need renovation. The restaurant is large and nice. You can enjoy a coffee and watch the surroundings in the restaurant on the ground floor. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the prices are reasonable. It's acceptable in terms of price-performance ratio…"
