"This is an older resort, but it offers free parking and two complimentary bottles of water. You also get free use of two beach chairs, which is a nice touch. The only downside is a large dumpster located downstairs; sometimes there's an odor on the balcony, and the garbage truck can be a bit noisy when it comes to collect trash in the mornings."

"The hotel was really nice despite a few minor issues in the room! The walls were super thin so you could hear everything, but the staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the location was perfect - right on the beach and close to lots of restaurants and activities. Some maintenance issues, but overall it was a great stay!"

Hampton Inn & Suites Orange Beach/Gulf Front ★★

"The place was clean and convenient but our room did not look like pictures on site when booking so that was disappointing. The staff was nice. There were problems with elevators which had to be worked on so it made getting to our 8th floor a lot slower. The breakfast was average. I was not informed that the orange bands needed to be turned in or would be charged $10 a piece but thankfully was able to go find them after loading everything up. Parking is also paid separately which I had booked on another site and was supposed to have been included but hotel made me pay so I had to take that up with trip.com where I booked. Just average stay."

"The Hilton Garden Inn in Orange Beach, Alabama, was a beautiful place! I liked the hotel layout. My favorite parts while staying there were collecting shells on their beaitiful private beach behind the hotel, leisurely riding innertubes on their "heated river" behind the hotel and enjoying their delicious breakfast buffet. Every hotel employee we met was wonderful and helpful! I reserved a physicallyhandicapped room with island view. My only unpleasant part of my stay was the flooding from the handicapped bathroom shower that flooded the bathroom floor, into the front entrance to the room, even wetting the hall carpet. I reported it to the front desk, who thanked me for reporting it. They said it was because it was a handicapped room. I told them it didn't matter...if it was a handicapped room or not. I told them more care should have been taken considering it was for a handicapped person. What if I'd fallen on the wet floor and gotten hurt? Anyway, I liked the hotel but I don't recommend renting and reserving the handicapped room (#415) until these issues are corrected and the room, itself, is updated and this problem is completely corrected.
