"Nice old historic manor house set in outskirts of Fowey (long walk into town). First impressions were good and rooms were large and comfortable but overall dining experience was haphazard. Breakfast was particularly disappointing with a very small selection of foods served. Hot food was not made to order but left under heaters and was either cold or looked unappealing. We did not see any cheese, salami or cold meats and were surprised this was not offered. Cakes and pastries were also repetitive and not particularly fresh. There was a bar with a pool table which the kids enjoyed in the evenings and a very small pool in an outer building (looked like it needed a bit of maintenance). But overall our stay was somewhat spoiled by the poor selection of food at breakfast and did not meet our expectations of a 4 star hotel."

"We loved our stay in Willow Cottage. The location is fairly easy to find and off a main road, so nice and quick to get to other places once you're back on it. The cottage was very clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. The pool was lovely and we used it a few times during our stay - our little baby girl had her first splash in a pool on our trip. It was very good value for money and we would stay here again."
