Best Western McCarran Inn
7.6 (60 reviews)

Best Western McCarran Inn ★★★

📍 4970 Paradise Rd, Paradise

"1. Price issue: I booked the hotel for 1092 one month in advance, but when it was one day before the free cancellation, the price suddenly dropped to 823. I fainted and had to contact Ctrip (I would like to praise Ctrip here). Ctrip immediately told me to contact the local agent to see if I could cancel and rebook. If it could not be solved, Ctrip would compensate me for the price difference. A few hours later, Ctrip informed me that the hotel did not agree to rebook after free cancellation. Finally, Ctrip compensated me for the price difference of 269. I give Ctrip a thumbs up. 2. Hotel transportation: It is very close to the airport, and there are many parking spaces for self-driving. However, there is a one-way street in front of the hotel, and it is a main road. There are many cars and the speed is very fast. The hotel is okay, but you have to turn left to merge into the main road when leaving the hotel. I have 25 years of experience in driving in the United States, but I still feel that it is very difficult to merge into the main road when leaving the hotel. The locals are very unfriendly when driving, and they will not slow down to give way, and they honk the horn crazily. It is very thrilling every time I drive out. 3. Safety issues. After checking in and dragging the luggage to the second-floor room, I saw 5-6 young men sitting in the corridor on the second floor. They didn't seem to be guests. At around 9 o'clock in the evening, just as I was about to go to bed, I heard a sound like the door opening. I was scared and went to the door to see that someone had stuffed takeout flyers in (Figure 3). 4. Noise and light pollution. On average, one plane flew over my head every minute. The curtains of this hotel are blinds, which cannot be completely closed. There is a billboard outside the window. Figure 4 shows the angle of lying on the bed with all the lights turned off. It is very dazzling, and the mattress is of very poor quality. There is no way to fall asleep with light pollution and noise. 5. The only thing worth praising is that the breakfast time starts at 5 o'clock, which is very friendly to people who catch early flights, but this is the only hotel among the 100+ hotels I have stayed in in the United States that prohibits bringing breakfast food to the room. The breakfast waiter pulled a shoe horn face, as if I owed her a lot of money, but the attitude of the black aunt at the front desk when checking in was quite good. All in all, I feel that this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in the United States, no doubt about it."

Fairfield Inn Las Vegas Convention Center
8.9 (119 reviews)

Fairfield Inn Las Vegas Convention Center ★★★

📍 3850 Paradise Rd, Paradise

"The location is pretty good, with a 7-Eleven and McDonald's nearby. The Sphere is within walking distance, and it takes about 20 minutes to get to the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre. The hotel itself doesn't have too many rooms, so it's a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. Plus, breakfast is included. Overall, I'm satisfied."

Embassy Suites by Hilton Convention Center Las Vegas
7.6 (122 reviews)

Embassy Suites by Hilton Convention Center Las Vegas ★★★

📍 3600 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, Paradise

"I chose this hotel because it’s 15 minutes walking to the Sphere (U2 concert). Big room.., 02 queen beds. Good pillows. Very good breakfast.., omelets are made with ingredients of your choice. You have to request the housekeeping service every day at the front desk. I’d stay again..!"

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Flamingo Las Vegas
8.9 (107 reviews)

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Flamingo Las Vegas ★★★★

📍 3575 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, Paradise

"The room is a bit old, the service is good, the breakfast was given Starbucks coffee and bread coupons, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel is in a good location, very close to the Las Vegas Strip."

Courtyard by Marriott Las Vegas Stadium Area
8.6 (109 reviews)

Courtyard by Marriott Las Vegas Stadium Area ★★★

📍 5845 Dean Martin Dr, Paradise

"Pros: The room is relatively clean Cons: The location is very bad, there is no village in front and no shop behind. It is also located below the flight path. From 7:00 in the morning, there are planes flying over the roof. The hotel is relatively old and the sound insulation is too poor. It is not very friendly to travelers with sleep problems. The network is extremely poor and unstable. If you can continue to access the Internet, you are lucky. I told the hotel, and the hotel said it would be repaired, but nothing happened. To be honest, in the current environment, it is a miracle that such a hotel can still survive. The key is that Ctrip's rating is higher than the hotel with good network next to it. I don't know why, the noise and network problems are completely invisible from the reviews. I feel that this should be the responsibility of the platform. Hotels are like that. You can choose to stay or not based on the reviews. This is a personal decision. But choosing a hotel based on the difference in ratings is the responsibility of the platform. I was really disappointed this time."

"The 2 front desk staff were quite arrogant. We booked for 3 nights but they asked me to check in today, check out tomorrow, check in again, and check in again the day after tomorrow... I had to check out every day... check in, who has time to come back on time every day to play with you? Ctrip called them several times but they didn't change it (thanks Ctrip). Later we refunded the last 2 days! The mattress in the room had no support and sank in the middle. The pillow had a distinct odor and probably wouldn't be changed. There were no hangers or cabinets, no shampoo or shower gel. Ctrip helped to contact the 2 staff several times but they just took a look and left (thanks Ctrip). There was noise, like a plane every 3 minutes! Later I booked the Hampton Inn & Suites Las Vegas Airport, which had less noise. The front desk was white and very polite. I think I still have to book a hotel with white people."

"The room we had smelled like mold and when you were in the bathroom sewer gas would come up the sink drain. Linens were clean, bed skirt not so much. Location was fine, close to metro but it was a 1-2 blocks from the hotel. At night, not ideal. Plan to uber if you go out. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. I don’t think I’d stay again."

"It is a hotel with a good location and good value for money, but the breakfast system is a bit inconvenient. They only provide muffins, coffee, and juice, so if that part could be improved, I don't think there are any major issues otherwise."
