Adonis Valberg ★★★
"The hotel is ideal for a family ski break. Everything is close. The reception manager Roberta could not have been more efficient and she really tried to help us get the best booking and then was efficient friendly after arrival and throughout our stay"
Vacancéole - Résidence Les Gorges Rouges ★★
"An unforgettable stay in the heart of the Red Gorges! We just spent an extraordinary week as a couple, between wild nature, intimate moments and breathtaking hikes. A huge thank you to the entire team, professional, warm and always attentive. Frédérique welcomed us with a rare kindness, making our arrival as smooth as the rest of the stay. And what can we say about Thierry, our hiking guide… Passionate, attentive and deeply human, he showed us magnificent landscapes while generously sharing his knowledge. Thanks to him, each step was a discovery, each summit a moment of pure happiness. Thank you for this memorable interlude. We leave with hearts full of memories and already wanting to come back for 15 days"
Auberge de Jeunesse HI Valdeblore - le Chalet ★★★
"The hotel is very clean and very clean and very clean."
Relais des Alpes ★★★
"The rooms are very beautiful and the hotel is centrally located in the place. However, checking is difficult if you don't speak French and we've been looking for a staff member for a long time."
Ternélia - le Rabuons ★★
"Too expensive for what it offers. The hotel is in a deplorable state; it looks abandoned. The rooms are small and minimalist."
SOWELL HOTELS Le Pas du Loup ★★★
"Sadly after checking in to probably the smallest room we’ve had on holiday, we had no hot water which lasted for 2 days. It was frustrating being on a cold ski holiday and desperate for that hot shower at the end of the day. However it eventually got fixed and we had no further issues. The rooms are super small. We had to push the beds towards the wall each day just to make some space to go into the wardrobe etc. Again being on a ski holiday you tend to have extra personal belongings with Ski wear, helmets, gloves etc. There is nowhere to hang jackets etc at the end of the day. Please put some hooks up on the wall near the bedroom doors, it will make a huge difference. There was Literally two electric sockets over the far side of the room with a small extension creating 2 extra.. It’s a pain having no bedside sockets or USB/USC ETC. It’s not all bad though, it was a nice addition of a fridge and nespresso machine in the room! The Room was nicely heated and the beds comfortable. The All inclusive concept is unusual to say the least but it worked well for us. Breakfast and lunch is all in one. Basically Breakfast/lunch runs from 07:30 until 13:00 each day and you can come and go during that time. It worked for us as we would skip breakfast and just go at about 11:30 for brunch after a couple of hours skiing and it would be lovely and quiet then with a mix of breakfast items and lunch items. You can also pack some sandwiches/Cakes etc to take with you each day on the slopes. They provide packaging which is a great idea and a nice touch. The Bar and restaurant have proper Coffee Machines which you can visit throughout the day when passing by! It was Good Coffee too! There is one bar in the hotel with a single server. It took a while to get pre dinner drinks and there was generally a Queue. Weirdly if you want a drink with dinner (apart from Wine & Water where you helped yourself), you have to take it in with you from the bar or during your meal go out to the bar and join the Queue before coming back. An unusual concept. The Boot/ski room is cold, wet and Musty. No heated racks and you are advised to take everything to your room as can’t be guaranteed safe. There was barely any space in your Room as it was so we had to take the chance and leave boots/Skis in the Boot Room. Most people do and I’m sure it’s safe enough as the room gets locked in the evening. The Whole area of Isola 2000 is exceptionally dated. Literally hasn’t been updated since the 70s. The evening scene is very lacking if that’s your thing. This resort could be amazing but needs some serious money spent on it. So why have I given 4/5 Stars? Well, It’s incredibly reasonable to stay here. The food is Fresh and tasty (if not a little repetitive). The staff are all friendly and helpful and the best part of all is the fantastic Ski in and Ski out. They don’t rip you off like other resorts and you’re only in the hotel to sleep and eat really (which were good on both count"
Hôtel les Alizés ★★★
"well placed near town center opposite the train station and next to a supermarket, but very peaceful all the same, our hostess was really helpful and friendly. The breakfast is fresh and has a big selection. Highly recommended."
