"We've got home to the UK and recommending this place to everyone who will listen! We booked the jungle package and chose the river canoe trip, night hike in the jungle, overnight stay on Cheow Lan Lake and upgraded to an ethical elephant experience on the last day. Everything was wonderful right from booking a few months prior. The transfer organised by them from the railway station at Surat Thani was seamless, the check in super organised and our room was made ready very shortly after we'd arrived (very early!) Rooms are spacious and a perfect atmosphere for the location, with balcony and hammock to spot the wildlife around or just experience the peace. And the food - probably some of the best food we've had in Thailand. It was beautiful and the staff there wonderful and very efficient. The overnight trip to Cheow Lan Lake will stay with us forever - it's just stunning and I'd really recommend you don't miss this. Yes the accommodation is very basic at the lake but you're in the middle of nowhere and it just all adds to the experience - don't expect 5 star facilities, just soak up the atmosphere and hospitality. Listening to gibbons, watching a sea eagle fly high above with a snake (!) seeing hornbills in the trees, the tranquillity. so many stunning photos opportunities - I could go on! The guide on our night jungle hike was very good - we saw a sloth, many scorpions, macaques, flying foxes and two snakes in the trees above (not a python!) We just wish we'd booked a couple of days more here to chill out, spending more time at the river beach watching the macaques playing in the trees and water and having a couple of Thai massages (us not monkeys obvs) They also run a shuttle into Khao Sok town, so you're not isolated there - we didn't do that but the town is a road of bustling activity full of restaurants, bars and small hotels."

"Or stay at arts Riverview Lodge was great. The room was exactly like in the pictures. The bed felt really clean however there was still some spiderwebs around the bathroom, which I guess is to be expected in the jungle besides that it was lovely. The hotel staff were great. The food in the restaurant was really good as well and you’re only a five or 10 minute walk away from the town a great experience if you like a jungle stay."

"We’ve had a wonderful 4 days staying in this beautiful rainforest. The staff are brilliant and have organised all our trips for us which are just brilliant and a lovely experience, from cycling and visiting local villages in the jungle and seeing how they live and work, seeing how rubber is made coffee beans all the herbs and spices grown in the gardens to produce all the amazing food. The elephant sanctuary - a small local place that has orphaned just two special elephants and we had the privilege of one to one with them..bamboo rafting such a calming experience, to the most amazing day on the lakes. We also did both cooking experiences, visited an organic farm and participated in cooking all our own food and the processes involved and did the jungle dinner night - this was also lots of fun & we met some amazing people doing this, but all the trips were small groups so really good. Lekky - front of house was ever so helpful and personable. We had a problem with our first lodge so he went out of his way to ensure we were happy and moved our room on the 1st day, he was also the person to organise the trips ensuring great communication throughout all our trips. The breakfast is good, plenty of choice and highly recommend trying their cocktails. The views from the lodges and communal areas are lovely and so tranquil. The lodges are super clean and the beds are lovely and comfortable. Just a couple of suggestions would personally be: Some seating area in the lodges as only outside seating provided, but plenty of lovely space to relax in the communal areas. The bathrooms could do with a little spruce up all the taps are very loose!! But it is the jungle. Maybe a hand towel in the bathroom could be handy especially for us woman! But overall a fantastic experience and we have created the best memories here. Thank you."
