Hotel Piran
"Breakfast was excellent, many varieties, service was very good. We drove right at the front of Piran Hotel unitentionally. Staff guided us to follow one of the staff to the parking (Fornace Parking) and took us back the hotel. Good view from the hotel and right in front of the water."
Barbara Piran Beach Hotel
"Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed our trip here. The staff were lovely - Zan was very helpful. The breakfasts were nice and the surrounding countryside is lush and green. It’s an easy walk to Piran (bit dark on the way back). Very comfortable and clean."
Art Hotel Tartini
"Very nice, next to the square and the beach"
Old Town Rooms Piran
"Very friendly hosts, nice, clean and comfortable appartment. Our little family member also enjoyed in little bed we got for him. Great location, we used free local bus to get to the center from garage. Highly reccomend."
Guest House PachaMama
"A very nice hotel, centrally situated close to the square in Piran. The room was pretty small but the standard high. Although it would be even better if the possibilities to unpack improved. We really appreciated that we could make our own meals when we preferred that and the secret garden was a pleasant place to enjoy whatever meal one prepared. Or perhaps simply a glass of wine. The staff was very friendly and helpful and always made you feel welcome."
Bioenergy Resort Salinera Apartments
"What can I say, we have extended, that should say it all"

Wellness Hotel Apollo – Terme & Wellness LifeClass
"The best thing about this hotel is the Spa center (shared with a couple of other hotels) which is directly accessible. Pools with salt water and everything that goes with it will allow you perfect relaxation and quality time spent. The rooms are very large, with balconies and tastefully furnished. What I don't like is the wall-to-wall carpet, not the best solution for a seaside hotel. In such a large room, they could provide more storage space. Parking is subject to availability and is payable. One gets the impression that the availability of parking spaces is the direct and exclusive responsibility of the porter. The staff is not overly friendly. In the hotel (which is not cheap), you pay separately for towels for the Spa, towels for the beach, a bathrobe and the already mentioned parking. The hotel has one elevator, which often takes a little longer to wait. The restaurant is like a workers' canteen, without much effort put into its decoration. Breakfast is average. So, I would probably come again and, with all the objections that are good to know before coming, I would still recommend the hotel for its excellent central location, for the room which is, after all, comfortable and of course for the Spa center."
Hotel Slovenija - Terme & Wellness LifeClass
"Hotel in the centre, perfect location also for an evening walk. Enjoy your breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Spa center with several swimming pools and whirlpools suitable for families with children. Ideal would also be to create an isolated and less noisy relaxation area without children"
Bioenergy Resort Salinera Hotel
"Everything was great, Friendly employees"
Remisens Hotel Metropol
"We were enjoing stay in Metropol hotel, breakfast was excellente."
Remisens Casa Bel Moretto, Depandansa Hotela Metropol
"We had a great time in this hotel. Rooms are specious and equipped with everything you might need. We had HB and liked the choice of food and enjoyed eating on the terrace with the beautiful view. Reception was very friendly and professional and it was easy to find parking. We will definitely come back."
Hotel Mirna - Terme & Wellness Lifeclass
"We stayed in this hotel for weekend with friends. Rooms are very comfortable and clean and the food is so good it's a shame I couldn't try all of it. The staff there were all nice and very helpful. The good thing is that we could do some shoping even on sunday."
Depandansa Casa Rosa
"This hotel claims to be smoke free and yet customers are smoking by the pool and life guard says nothing. The pool by the beach is showing wear and tear."
Remisens Hotel Lucija
"We were very satisfied, the location, services, everything was perfect. The only thing missing was a room for electric bikes where they could be charged. But even so, the receptionists found a solution, and it wasn't a problem."
Grand Hotel Portoroz – Terme & Wellness LifeClass
"I stayed at this hotel because I was visiting a friend who lives in Portoroz. The location is excellent. I liked the way everyone served me. I just want to make one observation: some restaurant staff need to look at the customer when they're talking to them. There was a lady who saw my relative at dinner trying to get a coffee from the machines and instead of telling him it was only open for breakfast, she started waving her arms. When we work in the same area, there are details that don't escape us, but I didn't want to say anything. Otherwise, everything is 5 stars."
Hotel Histrion
"Great location with a beautiful sea view from my room. The spa area is small, but the sauna with a sea view is absolutely priceless. The staff should smile more and make guests feel genuinely welcomed! I had to pay for the spa area, which seems inappropriate given the overall price. Also, having to choose the breakfast time the night before feels quite odd. Additionally, the room doors are not soundproof, so you can clearly hear noise coming from the corridor. The cleaning lady entered my room three times in the morning while I was still inside, which was very uncomfortable."
Boutique Hotel Portorose
"was very good"
Grand Hotel Bernardin
"good hotel, good location, good place to relax, not much to do nearby apart from relax."
Hotel Palace Portoroz by Minor Hotels
"A wonderful three-night stay! I love the combination of historical grandeur and modern comfort. A lovely spacious modern room (grand deluxe seaview) with a balcony. Wonderful breakfast area in the old ballroom and a very good breakfast. A lovely pool that extends from the indoor wellness area to the outdoor area. The hotel's beach club, with comfortable sunbeds and cabanas, is across the street. We cycled to the beautiful nearby town of Piran using the bikes provided by the hotel. A wonderful stay, thanks to all the very friendly staff!"
Hotel Vile Park
"We booked a queen-bed room and travelled as a couple, but unfortunately the room was not properly prepared. Instead of a queen bed, two single beds were pushed together, which was uncomfortable. The room also had an unpleasant smell, the carpet felt quite old, and the view was not appealing. We raised our concerns with customer service, but they were not flexible or helpful in arranging a room change. In addition, the hotel is located far from restaurants, making it difficult to find a place for dinner. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations."
Hotel Lavender - Oleander Resort
"The hotel was OK, but definitely too expensive, even in high season. The rooms were big enough, clean and with a big bed. However, the walls are extremely thin, you can hear almost every noise from the neighboring rooms. The breakfast is only average. The mattress was too soft and the pillows were a disgrace. The location wasn't the best, right next to salt fields, but there was a very nice Italian restaurant within walking distance. For €150/night we definitely expect a better standard, or at least €50 less per night."
Hotel Oleander - Oleander Resort
"The hotel's facilities are a bit old, the sound insulation is not very good, but the staff service is still very good, very warm, very comfortable"
Hotel Riviera - Terme & Wellness Lifeclass
"Great location across the road from the beach and within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and variety of shops. The indoor pool, wellness centre and outdoor pool are an added feature if you do not wish to join the beach crowd. Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained with a comfortable bed and nicely appointed bathroom with bidet. There was also a refrigerator and telephone. Although our room opened out to a view of the opposite buildings it was nice to be able to sit out on the balcony. The breakfast menu was extensive in a very comfortable dining room. Reception staff were efficient and friendly. It was a great hotel overlooking the gulf of Piran and a lovely introduction to what Slovenia had to offer!"
Hotel Salinera
"Same hotel has 3 or 4 stars. Old part is without sef or cooler. There is no welcoming for guests, you can not buy newspaper, no store is near. You dont have shuttle from bus to the hotel. Every metal is very rusty. From food we are sick. Caffe is not good. In hotel there is no activity. I was dissapointed at this hotel. The price was too high. Some pay 3 times more than others and they dont have an explanations. "
