"We visited Santa Catalina for Spring Break with our family of 6 and had the most wonderful stays at Villa Coco. The staff was warm and helpful throughout our stay. They arranged all of our excursions and every guide we had was fantastic. The rooms were gorgeous (outdoor shower of my dreams!) and the beds really comfy. The kids loved coming home to swim in the pool or relax in the hammocks. The food was outstanding - some of the best we have had in all of our travels and Olivia was outstanding - she a gem!! Lou, the cat, was our favorite. We will miss him sitting quietly outside our door awaiting our kids to wake up and give belly rubs. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you."

"The hotel is very suitable for special fishing trips or vacations. The hotel has its own pier, and you can catch all kinds of fish on the pier, although the fish is not very big. If you go to sea, you can really catch big fish. The dining is very good, the ingredients and taste are very good 👍. Other aspects such as health, service, facilities, environment, etc. are also very good. highly recommended."

"The Punta Duarte Garden Inn is a peaceful haven immersed into a lush green garden surrounded by an immense property that stretches from the picturesque virtually private beach to the hilly landscape. Breathtaking views of the ocean from different angles make for wonderful pictures. A three minute walk takes you along a path through the forest down to the beach. The house itself is beautiful with its generous open spaces and terraces and boasts an enormous very well kept pool. The spacious rooms are spotlessly clean and cozy and are equipped with very comfortable beds. The breakfast menu offers everything from salty to sweet and healthy, with eggs, tortillas, pancakes, smoothies and freshly made delicious juices. Both lunch and dinner menus change every day, there is certainly something for everyone at very reasonable prices. Staff are discreet, but very friendly and helpful, as is Gabi, the owner, whose cordiality is heartwarming. Even the two canine residents, two very friendly playful dogs. breathe the spirit of calm relaxation. We absolutely recommend this destination for travellers who enjoy nature, tranquility, a quiet hideaway from the crowds and good food in a wonderful setting."

"Another quick stop on the way! This hotel is great to rest after a long ride. Breakfast is great and beds are comfortable. Don't forget your ear plugs, this hotel can be a little noisy since it's in the middle of a bus terminal."

"My room was $80 per night and for that price I would certainly hope for better accommodations. The room was extremely small, as well as the bathroom (you can sit in the toilet and brush your teeth at the same time since the sink is in oración your face). To add to the bathroom woes, every morning the shower wouldn’t drain. The kitchenette had no soap, only one fork and no spoon, although the room was for two people. There was never anyone in the office to ask for help. The mattress was horrible and worn out with permanent indentions (body slots). The lighting ****** everywhere. Overall the room reminded me of a jail cell. It certainly wasn’t worth $8o a night and probably no even half that amount. The only positive was the location which is right near “downtown “. But in that same location, there are far better places in town to stay. I’d pass on this one."
