Bambuda Santa Catalina
"The hotel is a spectacular location where you can relax and enjoy different activities. Personnel is service and very friendly"
Hotel Gran David
"Good location for transit, disadvantaged much noise traffic and buses under that park."
Villa Coco
"We visited Santa Catalina for Spring Break with our family of 6 and had the most wonderful stays at Villa Coco. The staff was warm and helpful throughout our stay. They arranged all of our excursions and every guide we had was fantastic. The rooms were gorgeous (outdoor shower of my dreams!) and the beds really comfy. The kids loved coming home to swim in the pool or relax in the hammocks. The food was outstanding - some of the best we have had in all of our travels and Olivia was outstanding - she a gem!! Lou, the cat, was our favorite. We will miss him sitting quietly outside our door awaiting our kids to wake up and give belly rubs. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you."
Hotel Mykonos
"Very good the place, clean and pleasant, near all, on the main road, several minutes reach the mall"
Bocas del Mar
"The hotel is very suitable for special fishing trips or vacations. The hotel has its own pier, and you can catch all kinds of fish on the pier, although the fish is not very big. If you go to sea, you can really catch big fish. The dining is very good, the ingredients and taste are very good 👍. Other aspects such as health, service, facilities, environment, etc. are also very good. highly recommended."
Punta Duarte Garden Inn
"I’ve been to Punta Duarte Garden Inn many times. Definitely my favorite in Panama. If you want a quiet vacation with easy access to a nearly private beach, this is the place. There is also a pool for those who prefer. The place is always immaculately and air conditioned rooms with comfortable beds lead to a good night’s rest. The owner Gaby and her staff are quick to respond to requests. If fishing is your thing, Moises is available to take you by boat to the famed Panama tuna coast for an adventure trolling for tuna, snapper and other coastal are fish. One thing to note, the food leading from the highway is uphill and unpaved. It can be traversed with a standard 2 wheel drive vehicle, but it should have clearance room such as a SUV as there are ruts in the road. Of course, a 4 wheel drive vehicle can make it in any condition."
Hotel Santa Catalina Panamá
"We visited this lovely hotel 2 weeks ago with a group of 10. We were welcomed from the moment we stepped on to the property. The staff is wonderful here including the restaurant. So friendly and accommodating. The rooms are immaculate and we had a well equipped small kitchen that was perfect for breakfast. They will arrange all of your activities and there are many including going to beautiful Coiba. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel and I can’t wait to return!"
Seagull Cove Resort
"We chose Seagull Cove because it is one of the few resorts in Boca Chica with its own restaurant and private dock. Since there are only four dining options in town and essentially no local taxi service—they have to come from David, making short trips uneconomical—having an on-site restaurant is a necessity unless you have a rental car. The dock is also essential for swimming and water taxi pickups. The resort is built on a hillside, which is common for all properties in this area. This means there are steps—120 from the dock to the top—but at 65, we found them manageable. We stayed in the Monkey Cabin; while it is smaller than the others, it offers great views, easier access to the water, and better shade and breezes than the units further up the hill with far-off bay views. A golf cart is available to take you from the lower cabins to the restaurant and pool if you prefer to skip the stairs. The restaurant is rated the best of the four local options on TripAdvisor, and the prices are very reasonable—about half the price of Atlanta or other moderate travel destinations. They provide an included breakfast and will even cook your catch for you after a day of fishing. The service was exceptional for this price point: Paco provided some of the best service we have ever experienced; any request was met almost instantly. Daphnie and Marvin were very attentive and professional waiters. Michael, the groundskeeper provided a friendly greeting every morning. Juan, he manager, was professional and helpful in ensuring everything ran smoothly, including offering to have breakfast ready early for our fishing trips and departure day."
