"The hotel is close to the port of the island as it is located on Plaka beach. The sea is a 2 minute walk if you want to swim. It is literally on your feet! Our room was extremely clean, organized and cooking friendly as it had good kitchen equipment. The staff was helpful and nice and they gave us the right instructions on how to experience the island the best way possible. We also had breakfast in the hotel which is totally worth it, because we had many (mostly healthy) options. Overall the place is beautiful, peaceful and comfortable."

"This is an exceptional place. The rooms were spacious, clean and with modern decor. The breakfast, served in the room was fresh and delicious. The staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The private pool was a little small but given all the amenities provided, we didn’t mind it."

"just the best place to stay ever. such a well kept hotel. all the staff are so friendly. the rooms are cleaned every day to such a high standard, everywhere is so well looked after. coffee machine and kettle and toaster in room, breakfast is served in the garden which is a lovely start to the day. the beach is right on the doorstep of the hotel with great sunbeds and waiter service from food and drinks. i would love to go back very soon"

Athina Studios and Suites Plaka

"Being welcomed by the lovely, friendly Athina was the first taste of a wonderful stay. Athina lives here with her husband and they let out three rooms. The room had a tiny kitchen with 2 hotplates, small fridge and very small bathroom, fine for one person and a lovely little balcony with sea views. The best part for me, it's just a stone's throw from a fabulous beach with great tavernas on the sand. However I did find it a little hard to find and I walked past it dragging my luggage from the port. It's a 10 to 15 walk from the port but there's a lovely little square nearby with a supermarket and restaurants, then you can wander through the narrow cobbled lanes with lovely shops."
