"We moved to Villa Panorama after spending 4 nights in hectic Dubrovnik. Plat is a great location if you wish to experience the local life of Croatia. Within walking distance you have more than 5 beautiful beaches to choose from. The sea is crystal clear. Our room was fitted out tastefully, it had wifi and satellite TV, and a balcony with views of the sea. The sunset was spectacular from our balcony. Paula was a wonderful host, helping with her local general knowledge for our day trips. We even got to meet her mother and father, who shared their home brewed grappa! If you are looking for a peaceful stay - Villa Panorama is the place to stay."

"Would absolutely not recommend for anyone under the age of 50. Went with 2 Friends and hosts are not tolerant of any young people or children, (or just anyone with a loud laugh!) Very clean and well maintained, just no tolerance of a certain age range and spoken to quite rudely :("

"Absolutely cannot fault this amazing property, location and country! From arrival to our spotless apartment, just mere steps from the spotless infinity pool, to waking up to the beautiful scenery, our experience was exceptional. We stayed as a family of 3, in the (only) Deluxe Apartment for our weeks holiday. The apartment was super modern, spacious, had a well equied kitchen & two bathrooms (bonus!) as well as a beautiful veranda, all overlooking the coastline and pool. Ana and her family were accommodating, helpful and even left a gorgeous basket of fresh produce, picked on the property for us to use (what a simple but special touch!). The pool even had a little hut with cold refreshments (payable) and additional small kids toys and sunscreen which was nice. It's family suited, but not family orientated which is perfect and still very, very peaceful. Additionally, there was a ping pong table out front that our 10yo enjoyed using. We booked the 3 Island Tour and a seperate water taxi through the property. Both were good but we didn't realise the water taxi trip was included in the 3 Island trip already, so could have saved €30 (minor detail). The bus stops are literally outside the property's door, so able to visit Dubrovnik and Cavtat with complete ease. There is also a lovely beach and Poseydon beach bar just 10 minutes walk downhill (to a pebble beach - bring sea shoes), but you still have to make the journey back up of course. Cannot wait to return - thank you Ana and family for a great holiday!"

Villa Panorama Dubrovnik ★★★★
"We arrived in Dubrovnik by the ferry from Montenegro so we got the bus to the old town which took us 5 mins, from there we ended up taking a uber to the guesthouse which was 21 euro we did price up a taxi which they said 45 euros so don’t use taxis very overpriced . It took us about 20 mins which at first I thought we were too far away from Dubrovnik but soon realised it was the perfect location. When we arrived we upgraded to apartment which give us a living space & more room, the apartment was lovely & clean very modern & amazing views from the balcony. The beach is 10 mins walk which we used loads & 10 mins on the bus (10) or Uber is a lovely marina area called Cavtat which has lots of lovely restaurants to choose from or go 20 mins back into Dubrovnik loads of restaurants there as well. The 1 morning we did catch the water taxi that’s available to Dubrovnik took about 35 mins & it’s a great way to travel (15euros) & we got the bus back it goes every 1/2 hour. We had a lovely stay & hopefully we will return."

"Hi we have booked this villa for next may half term as it looks lovely but upon reading some comments it seems that the owners doesn’t really like children and me and my husband have two children ages 14 and 6 and now I’m really concerned as we we don’t really want to be treading on eggshells all week. Don’t get me know my children are really good they are not disrespectful or unruly but they are children so we are really thinking about cancelling as am worried about how we are going to be treated and I would rather not put ourselves in that situation so that’s really disappointing can anyone give me any advice I would really appreciate it Thank you in advance."

"Stunning view from the balcony and the pool. Clean & comfortable room. The owners have a garden with fresh vegetable and gave us some delicious tomatoes... but be aware that it is a place for people who have no issues with walking (to beach/ restaurant) or those who come by car. Definitely worth the money spent. However, there was no option to order breakfast on site which was the major disappointment. There are few restaurants in the area but you may need to make a reservation if you don't want to wait for an hour or longer for a table (Poseydon restaurant). The nearest restaurant (Konoba King) opens at 7pm...so if you do not stack your fridge (in the room) you may have a problem. There is a bus nearby (50m away) but it does not go according to schedule. Once it went 15 minutes ahead the time, the other time we were waiting 20 minutes...all in all, it was cheaper to travel by Uber (for a party of 3). The beach is nearby but there are over 200 steps up the hill on your return way and it is extremely overcrowded over the weekend."
