"Honestly, It's my first time to stay at double tree by Hilton and I would say that it was memorable & impeccable experience! The location is superb! Only 5 mins walk to the old town/city centre. The hotel Furnishings are modern and comfortable. The breakfast was generous , delicious with different variations. The hotel Amenities like the gym, spa & sauna are super relaxing specially coming from a long trip. The rooms are spotless and spacious. The staff were helpful & courteous specially "GABRIELLA" shout out to her. If you are Coming from the bus/train station of Plovdiv take the bus no. 26 or 7. The price was ok for the services they've offered. I highly recommend double tree by Hilton and I can't wait to comeback and experience again my Hilton moments. The only things that miss my needs were the amenities in the toiletries like toothpaste, toothbrush and etc and the rest were fantastic!"

The basement reveals layers of the past going back thousands of years, beautifully preserved and displayed — it felt like staying in a living museum. "This hotel is in the city center, next to a beautiful green park with huge trees. There are very nice restaurants, cafes and bars in the center. The rooms are generally spacious and comfortable. There was a plumbing problem in the toilet the first day we arrived. We didn't worry too much. But the next morning we told Alexander at the reception. He showed us alternative rooms and asked us to make a choice. We stayed in a very nice room. Breakfast was sufficient and nice. Cleaning was normal. We saw enough hospitality for our trip to Plovdiv, where we stayed only 2 days. I recommend the hotel."

"We had a comfortable room with lots of hot water in the shower within walking distance from the station and the center. There were many shared facilities like a kitchen area with coffee/tea (paid), seating area and smoking area. We didn't find the listed washing machine and there was no fridge in the room. There was no reception, and communication re early check in and/or bag drop was difficult. The toilet area was always wet because of there was no separate shower area or shower curtain."

"The Trip.com pictures of the "Hotel" are fake. It is not a Hotel. It is a Casino. I am completely shocked. My health was at risk, and my car and belongings were also in danger. After arriving at the nonexistent hotel parking lot, which is actually a paid city lot, someone crashed into the Toll both while rying to sneak in behind me. People were smoking **** and seemed hazardous. I couldn't risk staying at that place due to concerns for my health, and the inside of my car with my belongings was at risk of vandalism. This is not a hotel. This place does not have a parking area. It is a casino. A Casino for people that take ***** and be radical. I came by here on my buisness Trip at 23:20. With belongings in the car that needed to be kept safe. I came not to inhale smoke right at the entrance. J djd not came to gamble. I looked for sleep and safety. None of it is possible here. As fkr me first text. The shown pictures hide the faxt that it is a Casino. Not only that, it is a red ******* looking Casino in real life! With big Casino signs hanging everywhere!"

"First, taxis can't reach this hotel. Our group of four, with two suitcases, spent half an hour traveling back and forth before finally arriving. The hotel lacked all amenities: toiletries (including cups), a kettle, drinking water, napkins, slippers, etc. The room's air conditioning wasn't cold enough either. Breakfast cost €14 per person, but it turned out the landlord provided a fixed, simple meal per person, and refills of coffee were extra. The landlord wasn't very friendly. The only redeeming feature was its proximity to tourist attractions, and the hotel environment was acceptable."

"I can’t imagine staying anyplace better when visiting Plovdiv. We were a family of four with a car, and the apartment-style room we had was spotlessly clean and met all of our needs (and beyond). After contacting Bright House in advance, one of the two parking spaces was reserved for us, which was very convenient. The Kapana district with many bars and restaurants is right across the street, and most of the sights in Plovdiv are all a short walk away. Also, our room had a great balcony that overlooked the old town. A truly wonderful stay!"

"First of all, the location is excellent. It's near the starting point of Plovdiv's Old Town, making it convenient for sightseeing. Just across the street is the restaurant street next to the Dzumaya Mosque. This historic hotel is located in the Old Town. It's a great place to experience the antique atmosphere of the 19th and early 20th centuries. It feels like a historic hotel. The bedding was particularly comfortable, made of soft cotton, and the mattress was firm and comfortable, making it perfect for a comfortable sleep. I'm very satisfied. The staff was very friendly and answered my questions promptly, so there were no problems. I initially requested breakfast, but after one night, I liked it so much I ordered it for the entire three days. I'm 100% satisfied with the staff, location, and facilities."

"The location of the hotel is good is nearby the bus station to Turkey. A large supermarket Lidi is nearby and free parking is available. Some apartments equipped with washing machine and kitchen utensils. You can save a lot if you need washing your clothes and make dinner yourselves."

"This is a great little hotel with the most wonderful staff. Within minutes of arrival I injured my hand in a freak accident. Ina in reception volunteered to take me to A&E at the local hospital. Once there she acted as my interpreter & paid for a Tetanus shot & Antibiotics plus dressings etc. Totally above and beyond her role and on her own time as she had finished her shift. The food in Avocado restaurant which is attached to reception is really delicious, Beef Shank, Foie Gras, Veal Tongue 🤤 The Staff were really polite and helpful and the 7 in our group were delighted we had chosen the Plaza. I will definitely be returning here."

"Difficult to find in a vehicle with no helpful instructions from the hotel . Parking was 20 levs a night in a derelict site . Poor welcome from reception . No restaurant , no bar . The courtyard is in deep disrepair and unavailable for sitting outside . Breakfast was cold fried eggs and other choices very poor . Surly service . Basically it’s a very poor Bed & Breakfast . Disappointed because 7 years ago it was a completely different place which is why we returned ."
