Hotel IN
"I’ll get straight to the positives, the room was a decent size, the aircon worked fine and the shower was good, the rest wasn’t for us . Staff a mixed bag, no smiles or pleasantries, looked like they didn’t want to be there , breakfast was very standard stuff and not the best quality, coffee was ok , flat screen tv with a few English speaking channels, the hotel has no facilities, advertising a spa and indoor pool and had neither, could not buy any food or drink in this hotel, the bathroom is a strange setup, all glass with a curtain round so very little privacy, no kettle in the room, balcony was very uninviting as you couldn’t see over it when you sat down, all in all we are sorry we stayed here and would not recommend it"
Downtown Boutique Hostel
"The staff is super nice that she allows to go into the rooms first while she is inputting our data. Explanation on the room facilities is clear and the shared bathroom is clean and tidy too."
Torretta Palace Hotel
"Very friendly staff, good breakfasts and clean rooms."
Hotel A'Mare
"Nice and clean, but nothing special.... nice breakfast with variety"
Hotel Preko Ugljan, Curio Collection by Hilton
"I stayed at this hotel in preko for one night and had a good stay there. All of the front desk staff were warm, friendly, and spoke excellent English, which made check-in and communication very easy. The room was spotless and well equipped, with everything I needed. I also really liked the dining area on the ground floor — it’s a comfortable space to relax or chat with friends. The outdoor seating is especially nice, with a lovely sea view and a peaceful atmosphere. There are, however, a few small areas that could be improved. The pool, sauna, and massage services are only available until 8 p.m., which makes it hard for guests staying just one night to enjoy them — especially if they spend the day exploring outside and return later in the evening. Another thing is the balcony. While the room itself was excellent, the balcony faced nearby residential buildings rather than the sea, so the view wasn’t as great as expected. A sea-facing view would have made the experience perfect. Regarding the food, I tried both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was generally good, with a decent variety and acceptable quality, though not particularly impressive for a four- or five-star hotel. Dinner, on the other hand, felt overpriced. Although the restaurant has a perfect Google rating, I personally wouldn’t give it five stars. Most of the dishes tasted fine, but the portions were quite small and the flavors didn’t really justify the price (over €20–30 per dish). That said, the environment was lovely and the service was great, so overall, I would still rate the restaurant four stars. In summary, I had a pleasant stay and really appreciated the hospitality, cleanliness, and relaxing atmosphere. It would be even better if the spa facilities had longer opening hours and the dining experience offered better value for money. I’d still recommend this hotel, especially for those who plan to stay more than one night."
Crvena Luka Resort
"When we arrived at the resort, we had to wait for our villa to be ready — which would have been completely understandable, had everything actually been prepared. Unfortunately, when we entered the villa, we discovered that the air conditioning wasn’t working. This raised questions about what exactly was done during the 4-hour preparation period. We were told that we would be without air conditioning for four days — right during the peak of a major heatwave. After repeated complaints, we were eventually provided with a portable AC unit. A week later, the main AC was finally fixed, and our portable unit was immediately given to new guests whose AC also didn’t work. The resort was filled with guests (mostly from Russia and Ukraine) whose behavior was often inconsiderate — especially when it came to the beach area. Many would reserve multiple spots using towels and sunbeds, sometimes placing them in two or three different shaded areas, up to 30 meters apart, leaving little room for others. This created a rather unpleasant atmosphere. The staff were polite and helpful — I have no complaints about them — but overall, the resort does not live up to its advertised four-star standard."
