Hotel Reginella ★★★
"The best hotel in Italy, 37+ prices, although the most expensive on this road, are tens of thousands more than other Positano, this is absolutely cost-effective. Be sure to set a sea view room, the sea view room is in a great location, and you can open the window and feel relaxed. The sanitation is very clean, the facilities are complete, the new hotel, the elevator is touch screen. The staff was very welcoming and the breakfast was delivered to the room one day in advance. Looking at the sea view from the balcony, eating breakfast, it is definitely enjoyable. It is recommended to book the BRUNO restaurant to watch the sunset. This restaurant hotel is swaying along the road for 1 km. The key location and the hotel are facing each other. Two places can take all the scenery of Positano. Tips, if you bring luggage, don't be reluctant to 10 euros a box, the hotel will prompt the pier in advance to have POTER (similar to porters, send luggage to the hotel), carry luggage up the mountain, most likely to be scrapped. The hotel is halfway up the mountain, don't look at the straight distance from the pier! ! !"
Hotel Royal Positano ★★★★
"Room is clean but our room is on the 1st floor where the lobby is at 6th floor. Lifts are only operative from 3rd floor to 6th floor. There was staff to help bring luggages down to our room however not when we check out, so end up have to bring out luggages upstairs. Staff wasn’t very helpful, average. It takes about 20 mins to walk to the beach."
Palazzo Marzoli Resort, Positano ★★★★
"The view from the hotel balcony was unbeatable, which was what attracted me to the hotel. However, other aspects were quite disappointing. The room facilities were outdated, and the shower was so old I couldn't even wash my hair. Breakfast was served by room service, the selection was meager and the food was unappetizing; fruit required an extra charge. The location required taking a bus to reach the town center. The landlord initially quoted an outrageous 50 euros for parking, but we ended up finding a designated blue line parking spot ourselves. Having traveled to Sorrento, compared to other hotels of the same star rating, the hotel price was definitely inflated; it would only be worth considering if it were at least 50% off."
Albergo Miramare Positano ★★★★
"The hotel is in a good location, the breakfast room is beautiful, the breakfast is rich, and the service is also very good. The only regret is that the price is a bit high. The last picture is shown on the Ctrip page. I stayed for three nights, but it is not actually provided. I hope Ctrip will not mislead me. It is recommended to stay for two nights. Positano is very small, and two nights is enough. The overall price of this place is very high. The room layout should be different for each room type and when booking. The facilities are slightly average. It is an old-fashioned building. I understand."
La Caravella di Positano - Relais & Beach ★★★
"Pros: - Beach front location although you don’t get a beach front view or porch unless you book their villas. - Very near the port and near all the beach front restaurants and activities. - They give you fresh towels and take out the trash every day. - Very nice staff. Cons: - We had to pay cash. Their terminal wasn’t working properly. We tried four cards in total which all worked fine everywhere else. So we had to find an ATM and withdraw money. - The toilet stinks. For some reason even after cleaning and even after turning the exhaust on, the stink doesn’t go away. - Poor drainage - water and dirt get stuck both in the shower and sink."
Casa Guadagno ★★
Hotel Bougainville ★★★
"Excellent staff!"
Hotel Savoia ★★★★
"I give 1 star because they didn't return the money!!! Fraud!"
Il Moro di Positano ★★★★
"One of the best hotels in Positano. Delicious breakfast 😋 comfortable room, excellent service. I would definitely stay here again."

Hotel Pupetto
"The hotel restaurant service was excellent, offering fresh fish daily, and the food was delicious. The private beach was relatively quiet; the beach chairs in the first row need to be booked in advance."
Hotel Vittoria
"Our stay at Hotel Vittoria was a lovely experience. The room was spacious, clean, and designed in a beautiful Greek-inspired style. Despite not having air conditioning, the room remained comfortably cool thanks to its location near the sea. One of the highlights was the balcony with a stunning view—my partner and I enjoyed a peaceful evening watching the sunset from there. A big concern for us in Positano was managing our two bulky luggages, but the staff, especially Christina and Roberta, were incredibly helpful and responsive. They kindly arranged for porters to assist with our luggage during both check-in and check-out, which made a huge difference. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. We especially enjoyed their homemade drinks like the chocolate and americano. While the room didn’t have a kettle, the staff gladly provided us with hot water at night whenever needed. Overall, a relaxing and memorable stay with excellent service!"
Villa Yiara
"Very pleasantly surprised, good service, complete facilities, beautiful and large room, very high quality bedding, rich breakfast, and when they learned that it was our silver wedding anniversary, they sent us champagne, which was very touching."
Hotel Conca d'Oro
Villa Magia
"The breathtaking sea view—this hotel is the true gem of Positano! From the scenery and hotel design to the established, professional yet warm service (they even prepared an incredibly delicious Spritz with champagne for us upon arrival! Looking at the magnificent sea view, I was so grateful I chose this place), and the lavish à la carte breakfast reminiscent of European royalty (seeing it in person is absolutely stunning, especially compared to the perfunctory service of other five-star European hotels), everything makes you feel it's excellent value for money (initially I was a little worried about the price, but even my most frugal and picky parents kept praising it and started looking forward to returning for another family trip). However, be aware that this is an island made up of steps. Even as a self-proclaimed fitness enthusiast, I was exhausted and questioned my existence several times while climbing the stairs (luckily, I booked a luggage porter through the hotel; you can see them in green uniforms as soon as you disembark at the pier, holding your name tag and waiting for you—don't skimp on this!). Also, there are many overpriced restaurants on the island (such as a sunset restaurant with high Google ratings that costs over 100 euros per person). It's better to eat at the hotel's LUNA restaurant. I regret going to eat elsewhere; the sunset and night views from this hotel are equally stunning, so there's absolutely no need to suffer elsewhere."
Hotel Villa Franca
"The room does not match the advertised picture. In the photo, a white bathroom with a marble pattern. What resulted was a narrow gray-black bathroom. I booked 2 superior rooms with a friend. The rooms are clearly different. My room is just a very narrow balcony. It's uncomfortable for even two people to stand. But my friend, the adjoining room has a spacious balcony with 2 sets of sofa chairs to sit and relax. When I informed the hotel staff, they responded that because they wanted me to stay in a room next to a friend, they chose this room for me. It was a lower level room than what I paid. Not only that, the staff offered to upgrade me to a better room and I had to pay an additional 1000euro per night. I felt so sorry for myself for choosing this hotel. Not worth the money I paid at all. Even bringing your luggage to the hotel requires you to pay extra for this service. My friends and I walked up high and far from the ground. There was no impression in the room at all. And this hotel is at the highest point of the mountain, it is very difficult for you to walk to restaurants and grocery stores. And this hotel is at the highest point of the mountain, it is very difficult for you to walk to restaurants. or other shops Please think carefully if you want to stay here."
Le Sirenuse
"The location of the hotel is first-class, the environment is first-class, and it is a family hotel. But there are two points that must be remembered: 1. There is a problem with the hotel's credit card payment. This time, the hotel has not received the payment for the second time in a row (it is estimated that the equipment of Telecom Italia is old), and I have received the payment at that time. After successfully texting, you can only pay cash and settle with the hotel before returning to your country to communicate. 2. The food situation in the hotel, the pasta for lunch is too salty. Proposed to them at that time. The raw fish ordered at night was too bland and had no taste at all. Michelin restaurants should not be of this standard. I hope friends who are interested in staying in this hotel will remember it."
Covo Dei Saraceni
"The location is highly recommended for travelers who want to play at the sea. It's right in front of the sea, so you can just walk back and forth. Breakfast doesn’t have a lot of variety, but salads are delicious and there are many types of bread! There is lemon yogurt here and it tastes like yogurt for the first time. I tried it and it was very delicious. You must try it! I stayed in a small suite, but it was old. The cleanliness is really good. It’s really clean! I don't know if the staff are friendly ^^;;; Only the desk seems a bit friendly."
Hotel Punta Regina
"We stayed 3 nights in September but since we had to change dates, we had to move to a standard room after 2 nights. I would strongly recommend NOT to book a standard room. It’s very noisy with no view. The views from our third level suite were amazing and it was quiet. Rooms are a bit outdated. No complimentary water which is a small thing but very surprising. The staff is amazing. Everyone we dealt with aimed to please. The breakfast was fantastic and they provided lots of gluten free options and went above and beyond to bring me a gluten free croissant after the first day!"
Villa Mary Suites
"Although the mountain road was tough to climb, the scenery was absolutely stunning. All the popular photo spots were within walking distance, and there's a bus stop right outside the hotel. However, getting on a bus isn't always guaranteed. Some buses accept cash, while others don't. I highly recommend this hotel; it's a bit pricey, but beautiful. The breakfast was also excellent."
Hotel Palazzo Murat
"Wonderful stay. Perfect location, is on the busy pedestrian street of Positano but the minute you enter the hotel is a luxury oasis. Beautifully designed courtyard and swimming pool, a perfect place to spend the morning or afternoon. Classic Room was spacious even with a baby cot, not modern but has its charm. The staff are excellent, especially Antonio at the pool who took such good care of us and always carries a smile and with excellent drinks. The lady at breakfast is also so attentive to our family. Some staff are lacking friendliness which should be reviewed as 90% of the team are generally wonderful. Great breakfast buffet selection, with scrambled eggs, cheeses, cold cut, fresh fruits, fresh organic juice and pastries. Early evening in the courtyard with drinks and live music is such the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend this beautiful property!"
Five Positano - Dimora d'Arte
"Did we die and go to Heaven fro our 5 night stay ?? Omg everything we thought Positano and The Amalfi coast would be , was surpassed. Positano is all abut the views , the higher up you go the better the views. Pascal and I wanted a gorgeous place to stay , with those famous views, someplace sophisticated, clean , modern, comfortable, yet with charm and warmth and….. good reviews. ( truth be told I am a fashion designer and Pascal is a Florsit and we lived in New York for 30 years .. we wanted something really “Nice” ) We hit the jackpot as we ascended in to the heavens , yes Montepertuso where five Positano is located is almost in heaven, and its a schlep / climb to get up there, or bus ride, But so worth it. As our ferry approached Positano , Elvira , who speaks fluent english, was already in touch via WhatsAp, excited to meet us , with directions on how to get to Five Positano, we simplified life and took a taxi and Elvira was waiting for us when we arrived and insisted on helping with our bags for the last few steps , ( Positano is all about steps ) Five is jaw droppingly gorgeous , beautifully and tastefully decorated with epic views from their terraces , we had tears in our eyes before we even made it up to our spectacular room. We chose “ Sinensis” the room with a terrace and jacuzzi. Looking down over Positano , and out across the Mediterranean. The view was like looking at a living post card , awe inspiring . The room is magnificent, the bathroom gorgeous and the views from our balcony on one side and large Terrace out front …AMAZING We kept pinching ourselves that the Almafi coast dream had finally come true. Bigger and Better than we could have imagined. The delicious Breakfast in the mornings is chosen the night before from a large menu and lovingly prepared by Debora in the kitchen. There were two host Elvira and Sarah , both of whom are extraordinary warm gracious hosts. Every question patiently answered, with loads of recommendations , and they were at our beck and call on WhastAp should we need help at anytime during the day. The incredible “Il Retrovo” restaurant is only a short 5-6 minute walk and the legendary Trattoria “La Tagliata” is also nearby, even though their free shuttle picked us up … we ate at both and they are incredible. Each morning we walked the 1000 -1500 steps down to the center of Positano, and that walk was magical , winding down the cliff side, through trees, past little terraced farms , the air perfumed with Jasmine and lemon blossoms , and different , breathtaking views revealed as we descended … we always took the local bus back up in the evenings. We love love loved Five Positano and we truly hope to return there again, I hope you have the same magical experience we had."
Hotel Eden Roc
"The hotel was wonderful. Great service. Lovely room. Would 100% recommend. We had a fantastic time in Positano."
Villa Fiorentino
"My fiancé and I stayed here and had the most amazing time! The views are amazing, the staff is so friendly and helpful, the food was great, and the pools have such an amazing view! Will definitely be staying here our next trip to the coast!!!!!!"
Hotel le Agavi
"Goodd"
Il San Pietro di Positano
"Words can’t describe the experience of staying at Il San Pietro di Positano. Everything exceeds the highest standards of luxury - the location, property, rooms, dining, and especially the staff. The training surely does not have the word “no” in its curriculum and we were truly treated ed like family. I very likely could name every employee I interacted with but the GM, Andrea, Martina at the pool, and the man that wears so many hats, Pasquale, truly made the stay incredible. I’d like to say it’s a once in a lifetime experience but we’ve already booked our return for June 2027!!"
