"The room is not very comfortable and it is quite noisy. But for a short stay it is OK"

40 Amigos Hotel
"Great service! Johanna and her team went out of the way to make sure we had a great stay. They were flexible when we had last minute changes, gave us great recommendations on tours and restaurants, and even escorted us to town at night. Hope to come back soon!"
Hotel Rio Piedras
"We booked the king size bed suite. The rooms of this hotel are right next to a main street where all vehicles, especially noisy motorbikes and trucks have to travel to move around the city at any time. It feels like sleeping on the road. The noise of the motorbikes did not allow us to sleep for 2 nights, the room is a clean room that seems to have been remodeled, but it looks like a prison with high white ceilings without any wall decoration, just a TV on the wall full of ugly cables that lead to a huge table with which you hit your knee when walking. The windows do not have curtains to block out the morning light, which means that at six a.m. you’ll be awake . When we woke up (after a few hour sleep) we found out that the water heater was not working, having to shower in 58f (14c) weather, with water as cold as a cold river. Some people complained about it, and at night we managed to get hot water, but the next morning the water was freezing again. Staying in this hotel was a nightmare, the reasons to stay in a hotel is to sleep well and have a nice shower, neither can be achieved in this place. The staff, although friendly, did not guide us correctly on how to get tour guides to learn about Jericó, even gave us wrong directions. The food at the restaurant was horrible, we ate on one occasion and left the whole pizza on the table. The stay includes breakfasts, breakfasts that consisted of only 3 options, no juices, just coffee or tea, horrible, a poorly cooked single egg, a cold toast and an arepa that could barely be eaten, the first day we left breakfast on the table and went to have breakfast elsewhere and never came back to the restaurant. We are still waiting to put on some robes that were suppose to be deliver to the room. We weren't expecting a 5-star hotel, but we weren't expecting a cheap overpriced motel either. The bathroom is very nice and comfortable, but it is useless if you have to shower with freezing cold water. Terrible experience, this cannot be called a hotel, and not for almost $100 per night, maybe a hostel or a motel is a better category, I wouldn’t pay more than $25 for this place. The building is nice, the view from the balcony is beautiful, but it's useless if you can't sleep, rest or shower comfortably, be aware."
Casa Hotel Las Hortensias
"We have had a super stay. The hotel is super well located at 1 rue du Parc de Jardin. All is accessible by foot. The rooms are beautiful, clean, with hot water is a super wifi. There is a very pleasant patio to sit when it rains much in the city. Finally, both staff are too kind. I strongly recommend 👍"
Finca Boutique El Diamante
"Hotel Boutique El Diamante in Salgar, Antioquia, Colombia, is a haven of enchantment that I've had the pleasure of visiting multiple times. Each stay brings me immense joy and tranquility. The culinary delights, impeccable service, breathtaking natural surroundings, and engaging activities seamlessly transport me to a state of deep relaxation that's hard to put into words. Whenever stress overwhelms me, I close my eyes and reminisce about this magical place, and it instantly helps me unwind. Under the star-studded night sky, the symphony of nature – the chirping insects, singing birds, and gentle breeze – is a sensory experience like no other. Despite living far away in another country, I'll continue to return to El Diamante, a place that has captured my heart."
Cabañas y Flores
"A peaceful and charming place, ideal for a family trip. Sergio's service was excellent, and our dog loved it. We saw birds, a sloth, and howler monkeys. The cabins were lovely and clean, the view spectacular—a place to return to."
