"The hotel is situated above an olive farm with stunning views. I think they do a lot of weddings at the weekends, and it's the ideal setting. We only stayed one night, in a suite with views of the countryside and the sea. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Our suite was spacious, with a separate living area, including kitchen and sofa, as well as a large balcony. It was spotlessly clean, and the bed was comfortable. We did have an issue with the balcony door which the staff had to resolve. Also, I don't think the air con was working correctly. However, as it was October, this wasn't a major issue for us. We ate at the restaurant as it was more convenient than driving into Ragusa or Scicli. However, both are fairly close, only about 15 minutes drive. The restaurant was very good, serving high quality cuisine. Breakfast was served in a separate building next to the pool, with views of the countryside, and was also excellent. After checking-out, we were able to go for a walk through the olive orchards before leaving. There are beaches about 15 minutes away, for those staying longer than we did. The hotel was very good value for money and would make a good base for anyone wanting to explore the surrounding area by car. "

"Stay away from this hotel. The listing states it is a 4 star hotel. It is barely a 3 star. we have stayed at many hotels in Italy and Europe and this must be the worst one we have ever visited. To begin with, the staff doesn't wear name tags and dresses as if they are on the street. Torn jeans and t shirts. There is NO WIFI or INTERNET. This is not an exaggeration. Unless you have a phone plan you are out of luck. THERE IS NO HOT WATER, PERIOD. Stayed 2 nights and never had any hot water. Had the engineer and others attempt to make it at least warm and all they did was shrug. The breakfast was meager with no staff monitoring whether anything needed replenishment. Things not eaten on our first day showed up on the seond day. Still not kept cool with ice or any other method of keeping things cool. On the surface, this hotel appears to be a 4 star hotel with a beautiful swimming pool and other amenities, but this is deceptive. Underneath, it is worn and needs much upgrading to be even a 3 star. How anyone could give this anything but a 1 star is beyond us unless they are travellers who aren't very discerning or are unwillig to look beneath the surface. But how could anyone ignore no hot water and no internet. our suite had a gorgeous jaccuzi, which, again, was impossible to use because NO HOT WATER. Book a stay anywhere but here. Even a motel 6 has hot water."

"I stayed at this property recently and I must admit I wasn't at all satisfied. The service leaves much to be desired, both in terms of room cleanliness and dinner management. As for the room, besides not being adequately cleaned, I found something even more unpleasant: personal items were moved carelessly, and in some cases, I was unable to find them. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable and undermines the guests' trust. Dinner was also a negative experience. The staff seemed to be in a rush to clear the tables, pressuring us throughout the meal, leaving us no time to eat in peace. This made dinner very unpleasant."

"We stayed for one night at the beginning of a cycling holiday. The room was lovely, nice size, nice furniture, large window. My only criticism is that the lighting could have been better…ageing eyes need bright light! Check in was good, but reception failed to pass on a message to me twice. They also said they would contact the person the message was from twice (even though they had a message they hadn’t passed on) and didn’t do that. The breakfast room was windowless and dreary. It felt crowded even though it wasn’t full. Reasonable but not great selection of food. There may have been a hot option to order but the service at breakfast was so abysmal we didn’t get that far…almost had to grab the waitress in passing to get a cup of coffee….she didn’t seem to realise that customers need serving! Not sure we would go back. Didn’t use the spa."

"This is a stylish boutique hotel. Rooms are well appointed and larger than a modern hotel and feel special. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast is OK, although not really anything special. But it is a long way from Ragusa Ibla (old town), and you need a car - 4k by road to the nearest car park. But don't let that put you off as you will probably be in a car anyway. The staff were all really great and gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The only thing that we weren't too keen on (in May) was that the sun disappeared from the pool area a little early, and would be the only reason we might look elsewhere if we return, but we did enjoy our stay."

We took the chocolate making course & it was very interesting to learn the difference between normal chocolate making & what's known as "Moderna Chocolate". We made several bars to take away & thoroughly enjoyed the experience."

"Vincenzo was a great host - he provided parking info via WhatsApp and met us by the piazza to escort us to the B&B. The room was on the smaller side, but it was of great value given the location, private bath, and a hearty breakfast. The B&B itself had a great outdoor terrace overlooking Ragusa Ibla. Guests should know that there were numerous steps they must climb before reaching the room. We enjoyed our one-night stay here!"

"Had a great stay here. Great room that was spacious and confortable. Breakfast was enjoyable every single day with beautiful fresh coffee. Staff went above and beyond. Due to the festival of St George - I (acting like a hopeless tourist) parked in the wrong place and the car got towed and impounded. The staff contacted the police, found the car, drove me to the impound and then translated the instructions for me - I couldn't happier with the help. If you go to Ragusa - stay here"
