"We love, love, loved our stay here! The setting is absolutely dreamy - the grounds are immaculate, the food is excellent and, of course, their wine is divine. We stayed in the wonderfully spacious Olive suite which has 2 floors and would be perfect for a family of 4. It has its very own large patio with an unexpected sea view. My husband and I chose this beautiful property as our base to visit the Valley of the Temples and Scala dei Turchi - the location was perfect. We loved spending our afternoon by the stunning pool after a day of exploring. My only regret is that we only booked 2 nights. Will definitely be back."

"We stayed at Borgo Giallonardo Wine Relais for a few nights in April 2026 and had a lovely, indulgent stay. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, elegant and effortlessly luxurious. Our room was extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had beautiful views overlooking the vineyard. We ate dinner at the hotel on both evenings and the choice of food each night suited both me and my husband - we both have very different tastes. Everything was fresh, relaxed and beautifully prepared. Of course, the wine was a huge highlight of the stay and we sampled the white and two of the three red wines and loved them all. Prices were very fair. One of our favourite parts of the visit was relaxing by the pool during the afternoons. It was a too cold to swim in April, but lying in the sun with a glass of wine, vibey music playing softly in the background, and a very friendly and helpful bartender looking after us felt wonderfully decadent. As we'd been very indulgent we used the small gym twice and really enjoyed that as well, even though it was small, it did its job and we looked at the olive trees as we pedalled the exercise bikes! We enjoyed the breakfast and must make special mention to the delicious cakes (loved the pistacho one especially) though we weren't sure why some of the heaters on other breakfast items had been turned off quite early. Borgo Giallonardo manages to combine understated luxury with warmth and charm, and we left feeling completely spoiled."

The bistro attached is a convenient place to snack, lunch or have dinner. Views from the bistro terrace is calming. "The property is in beautiful location, great view and a nice building. Francesca and Salvatore, two young employees are making their very best to make the guests comfortable and meet their request but they are employees thus with limited authority to act. The resort is heavily understaffed and even luggages when not transported by guest have to be carried by Francesca and Salvatore in addition to their other jobs of serving breakfast, checking in and our clients, arranging for aperitif, and receiving complaints for air conditioning not working properly, no drinking water provided in rooms, garbage not collected in rooms, internet working intermittently, phone not answered, and emails not responded or responded late. There are no place where to place soap and shampoos in the shower’s cubicle, and in my room the lack of hot water was rectified 2 days after my complaint. In short, location top, Francesca and Salvatore very good, management to be re-trained or replaced. Incidentally, aperitifs are expensive (14 euro for a glass of white wine, and you are discouraged to bring food of drinks bought outside in the resort. There is no laundry service or washing machine available to guests."
