"Where can I start excellent staff staff as soon as you get there you just feel so relaxed.bar and restaurant staff are excellent they never stop if you have any questions about anything they go above and beyond to point you in the right direction.great location I even met other travellers that stayed at other resorts that visited the Edge water resort and commented that they wished that they booked there.I highly recommend the edge water resort for any type of travellers.miss you guys you are all awesome see you all next time"

"We had two rooms for our family. The beach suite was very spacious and had an amazing view of the lagoon. The beach was so calm and beautiful. We loved the kayaking and paddle boarding. The food was good but after a few days we were sick of the menu. Luckily the location is great and you can walk to other restaurants."

"Everyone here is very welcoming and friendly! Some people always mistake us for Japanese or Koreans, but there are people in China who like to travel and enjoy the world just like us! In short, I have fallen deeply in love with the Cook Islands, and I love everything here!"

"This resort fitted my purpose well. Love this adults only resort and location just right on the beach. Each villa is stand alone with your own entrance & patio area which is what I like. You are not attached with other rooms or share space. Facilities inside the room just same as the pictures. Good value & room price, includes breakfast. Overall, a clean & tidy complex, friendly staff, good size swimming pool. I definitely will choose Crown beach resort again."

"The resort is good, the local popular one, 3k a night is still quite expensive, the price is generally the same, although the best beach and the lake on the main island, but it is still completely incomparable with the outlying island, it is OK to stay for one night."

"The resort is on the seaside of the atoll, very close to the airport with a six-minute drive, and the hotel arranges pick-up and drop-off for guests, which is very convenient and worry-free. There is also a French restaurant by the sea and by the pool in the resort, which tastes good and is not expensive. As a result, I settled all three meals in the morning, lunch and evening. The front desk of the resort only works for half a day, and the rest needs to be handled by self-help or pick-up drivers. They have a lounge near the front desk reserved for check-out guests with tea and coffee and showers."

"Wonderful Beachfront Location and Excellent Value Castaway Resort enjoys an amazing beachfront location. It was well sheltered from the strong seasonal winds we experienced elsewhere on the island, making it a peaceful and comfortable place to stay. Our accommodation was a good size, and we appreciated having a separate lounge area and small kitchenette. The television reception was fuzzy, possibly due to the aerial, but this was of little consequence to us. The sofa bed, however, was well past its useful life. The deep dip in the middle made it uncomfortable to use even as a sofa unless it was filled with pillows and cushions. The pool area is functional but looks tired and would benefit from some maintenance and updating. Wi-Fi is available only in the restaurant and other public areas, not in the rooms, which made working a little inconvenient. However, this was clearly stated in the resort’s description before booking, so it was not unexpected. The staff were amazing. Aileen, our housekeeper, and Firaz and Nather in the restaurant deserve special recognition. They were extremely personable, attentive and always willing to go the extra mile. The restaurant serves well-prepared and beautifully presented local food. Its beachfront position is a particular highlight, and enjoying cocktails there at sunset became one of the best parts of each day. Overall, Castaway Resort offers very good value for money, and we would happily recommend it. The calm beachfront setting, friendly staff and beautiful sunsets make any minor inconveniences pale into insignificance. A stay here is unlikely to disappoint."

"Cleaners failed to clean the room properly but didn't bother me too much just plates on the table from room service ect but other then that it was some what good service. I needed a charger and got told to go across town when I just checked the service station a min away which had one. The pool was nice but since it's adults only you'll find alot more older people 60-75 then younger people which is not the most ideal thing for a guy in his 30s. The hotel was amazing I had the honey moon suite and spent more time there then I thought due to the room. Also they have the best beach for snorkeling period hands down great private beach which gives me a 4/5 star review. Breakfast is very basic."
