"We booked the deluxe villa with a bathroom because I was particularly drawn to the design of having a small pool in the courtyard. I used it daily, and the privacy felt palpable once I locked the front door. The rooms were well-separated, featuring a cozy living room with a ceiling fan, tables, chairs, and a TV. The bedroom and bathroom were decent-sized and equipped with all the essentials. The daily coffee and bottled water were a pleasant surprise. However, the reception staff were friendly, but the restaurant, bar, and breakfast staff were cold and unfriendly. We only needed to request a room cleaning once, and it was done quickly, but it didn’t feel thorough. Three ladies arrived with cleaning supplies, but they left within 3-5 minutes, changing the towels and water, but not doing much else. We believe you should request a room cleaning, at least that’s what we felt. The breakfast was basic and didn’t get replenished quickly. One morning, we had breakfast and discovered that the milk was spoiled. It had mixed with our coffee and cereal, so we had to leave it. The staff were always cold and unfriendly during breakfast and later at the bar and restaurant. On the positive side, the view from the pool was excellent, and it was peaceful and relaxing to be there. However, I noticed some weeds and smoke around the area, which made me feel a bit sick after inhaling it for a while, even though I’m a non-smoker. Also, there is a nice 711 across the road from the hotel, and it’s in walking distance to get to the haad rin beach"

"First time in Koh Phangan and Bayshore hotel was an enjoyable experience. Very modern, clean place with exceptional personnel and great amenities. We have stayed in a Deluxe Cottage that was surrounded by greenery and nice shade had been there all the time. Hotel has a nice pool and surrounding area, and a clean and cozy beach. Breakfast experience is great too, very beautiful serving and polite staff. The distance from Thong sala pier is 25 minute by car. Hotel provides it's own good transfer in a gorgeous car by 300 thb let adult, child for free. Highly recommend this hotel for a quiet family vacation."

"Simple but lovely place on the hill near haadrin beach. Nice pool, stunning balcony views, macaques, drongos and cheeky squirrels scampering about. Near a range of restaurants and the big 7 eleven - about a 5 min walk to Sunset. Liked it so much I extended my stay by two days."

"Good day. I had the bungalow closest to the sea. There's more than enough space inside. Cool bedside lamp (nightlight). There's a workspace and a sofa. There's a terrace with a sofa - I could see the sea from mine. Lots of windows. Low price compared to the neighboring Bayshore. I want to go back."

"Extraordinary!!! Undoubtedly the best hotel on Koh Phangan island. Everything was absolutely perfect. From our arrival until the last second spent at the property, the staff went above and beyond and did everything to make our stay a waking dream. We had a room with a sea view and pool view, very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The pool is sublime and refreshing, the beach is calm, expansive, and the sunsets are magical. The dining is incredible, from breakfast to dinner, and the service is top-notch. Congratulations to the chef and their team who delighted us during these 5 days. The chocolate mousse, pizzas, and salads are wonderful. We will definitely return to relive these timeless moments."

"This is a wonderful hotel with a large property featuring several buildings along a path lined with beautiful plants leading to the beach. The grounds include a pool, cafe, bar, and laundry facilities. The property is well-maintained; they sweep fallen leaves and flowers from the paths every morning and tend to the plants. The beach is nice for sitting on the sand and sunbathing, but perhaps not the best for swimming. If you're traveling with small children, it's best to choose a ground-floor room. On the second floor, there are large openings through which a child could fall. Our child wanted to spend a lot of time on the balcony and sometimes even climbed under the bench while playing, and there was just a hole leading outside without a railing. Thankfully, the management was accommodating and switched us to a ground-floor room."

"I really liked this hotel. The breakfasts were excellent. You order your main dish as soon as you arrive, and they bring it out in about five minutes. Everything else is buffet style. This hotel is only suitable for those who drive a car or moped. You can rent a moped right there, and the prices are good. They have a selection of Honda Click 125 and 160 models. We rented a moped for the entire week of our stay and got a discount. Just a heads up, the uphill climb isn't for beginners; assess your capabilities and weight, as a 125cc might struggle with two people. There's a path to the beach, but since we had a moped, we never used it. Because the hotel is located high up, we often slept without air conditioning. Our room had a mountain view, and the windows opened and had screens, so we had no mosquitoes. Plus, the balcony wasn't facing a courtyard, so we could relax there peacefully without anyone seeing us. The rooms on the second floor with a pool view have one drawback: you can't open the window in the room. The ones closer to the entrance are better and have openable windows, but people walk right past them, so you'd have to sleep with the curtains drawn. Unfortunately, rooms were only cleaned upon request. It was only towards the end of our stay that we realized we could get water and fresh towels ourselves. Trash by the pool was collected once a day, or even less frequently. Empty bottles and dishes could sit there until the next evening. It was very strange; the entire property was cleaned daily, but the pool area only every other day."

"This was a 9/10 stay, the quality/set up of the rooms was the only downfall. A glass door in front of the toilet which made it tight inside a little cubical, no mirror in the bathroom, and no proper door on the bathroom. Everything else was absolutely fine, especially the free pool table. The most outstanding thing was the service, the staff here are next level. Would definately stay again."

"We stayed at Milky Bay Resort and were, on the whole, very satisfied. What we particularly liked was the accommodation in separate bungalows, which really created a sense of privacy and tranquility. Our room was spacious, with its own terrace – a lovely spot to spend time in the morning or evening. A big plus for us was the free on-site parking, as we had rented a car and actively explored the island. The resort has a cozy restaurant with calm, unobtrusive music playing, which creates a very relaxing atmosphere. There are sun loungers near the beach – it was really pleasant to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while admiring the bay view. The only, and quite significant, downside was the strong low tides. During our stay, the water receded very far, making swimming at the hotel beach practically impossible. However, we took this as an opportunity to get to know the island better, discovering new beaches and beautiful spots around Koh Phangan every day. Overall, it's a very cozy and atmospheric hotel for a peaceful getaway, especially if you plan to rent transport and explore the island independently. 🌴☀️"
