Super 8 by Wyndham Ridgecrest

Good hotel, good mattress and close to everything. We like the bathroom too.
Howard Johnson by Wyndham Ridgecrest, CA

The room was a bit small, but it was clean, it was too small. The air conditioner was very loud and a bit noisy. The hotel has a free breakfast, but the breakfast hotel does not have a drink. The waiter came up and asked ”coffee or tea”, and did not say that this is a charge. When I finally left, I was told that it was a 3.56 knife. In addition, the money must be paid in cash and credit cards are not accepted.
Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Near China Lake Naval Station

Ridgecrest is a small town but with lots of restaurants, a Walmart supercenter and a cinema in front of the hotel. We used the hotel as a starting than landing point to Death Valley wonderful National Park. The hotel is clean, calm at night, staff is friendly, breakfast served as from 5.00 am which is superb but the hotel has some limitations : air conditioning/heating is very noisy, rooms are very simplified (when compared with same price level hotels we experienced during our California trip), breakfast is minimalistic and there is not a real dining room but 2 tables in the reception area. You can ask ice and receive a (very) small bag of ice at reception. So a rather mixed experience and it's hard to understand why in a small town, this hotel has a rather poor value/cost relationship.

The location was a block or so from the main drag in a residential area. Very quiet. Grocery store and restaurants were nearby. I also walked to the Petroglyph Park. The room was great, fresh paint, everything worked and was very clean. The people working there were helpful and pleasant and wearing masks even behind the plexiglass. WiFi was very reliable. Great place for the frugal minded traveler.
Best Western China Lake Inn

room was nice and cozy . when we went into their little breakfast kitchen at 6am my son who is 5 accidently spilt his drink and the kitchen lady acted extremely rude and aggressive about a little accident and made him cry. on top of that there was not any food in the warmer things which is lame. ended up going to mcdonalds instead i asked for a manager at the front desk but they said that they're not in till 9 and we where leaving at 7am for trona so did not get a chance to put in complaint over the bad behavior of their worker who seems to hate their job and takes it out on everyone else. we will be sticking to marriot or hampton for now on after that stunt.
Hampton Inn & Suites Ridgecrest

Staying here numerous times, it is getting better and better. This was probably the best I've seen and experienced at this property. Though all visits and stays are fine and good, this was particularly excellent. The cleanliness of the rooms upon entering, all amenities were in perfect place, the breakfast area was in excellent condition and super clean. I never used or went by the front desk as I used the app for check in, digital key, and check out. It worked perfect. The 2 wonderful staff members tending to the breakfast area were GREAT!! Hard workers who keep the food well stocked and the area super clean! The best stay I've ever had at Hampton Inn Ridgecrest!
