Lake Kivu Serena Hotel ★★★★

"It was pretty good, just the facilities were a bit old, but otherwise it was alright. The breakfast was very plentiful. Room service was also excellent, and every staff member was very polite. Their hotel room key was very unique, it was a gorilla, which was perfect since I had just finished tracking mountain gorillas at Volcanoes National Park."

La Planete Hotel ★★★

"Excellent stay! The rooms were spotless, clean, and well-organized. The service was impeccable, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh local fruits and sweet bananas. A special thanks to Assumpta at reception for her professionalism, kindness, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!"

Inzu Lodge ★★

"This is a -beautiful- place. I’ve stayed here now the 10th time (first time was in winter of 2019) and don’t regret it. Service, food, location and rooms (I did tents, cabana and bungalow) are great. If you wish to stay at a beautiful place which wholeheartedly supports ecotourism and the community nearby, you should go here."
