Hotel Peter
Avenida Mountain Lodges Saalbach
"Very pleasant stay. Excellent personal and great breakfast. The rooms are designed as an apartment, so you can cook for yourself. - free parking - great breakfast - great service - bike storing options - bike washing options - sauna with showers (you can use them even on the day you are leaving) I don't have any negative things to say about this hotel."
Das Glemm Hotel - Joker Card Partner
"Excellent place to stay. We were on a mountain biking week and had a great week staying at this hotel. The room was large with plenty of storage, huge bed, big TV, large walk-in shower, and a decent size balcony area. They served a really good continental breakfast in the mornings - super tasty cereal and eggs! They also catered very well for bikes, with a secure lock up room, and a bike wash. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and as we had a late return flight it was great to be able to use their sauna area to shower and change later in the day (ie after checking out). The location is also great, just a 10 minute walk to the shops/restaurants. Negatives were really minor! I did find it odd there's no sink in the toilet room, so you have to go through to the separate shower room to wash your hands! And it was super hot while we were there. We weren't expecting A/C but a fan would have been nice to help shift the air a little. But overall this is a fantastic hotel and it will be top of the list if we return to Saalbach in future."
Berger's Sporthotel
"Hotel is middle of town The rooms are ok The service is excellent Good spot"
Alpinresort ValSaa - Sport & Spa
"This is one of the nicest hotels myself and my husband have ever stayed in. The reasons are : The staff , from the lovely English gentleman on reception so funny and helpful as are all the receptionists the waiting staff Charlie was our idea of the perfect waiter , knowledgeable, efficient and the epitome of what a waiter should be. Must not forget La Capitaine ( no idea of his name) the bartender who makes the perfect Aperol Spritz and flat white coffee ably helped by the lovely young tall man with impeccable English. The place is spotless and our cleaner left our room perfect every day. The facilities are brilliant, the spa second to none , the swimming pool the perfect temperature, the hairdryer in your bedroom is a proper one ( even better than the one I have at home !) the towels fluffy and the bathrobes, the spa towel perfect. The food for breakfast and the evening meal is so well presented and tasty it puts some flashy restaurants to shame. Saalbach is so quaint and typically Austrian it looks like a film set. The joker and mobility card you get free from reception is a godsend , it meant we were up and down all the nearby cable cars all day and the mobility card gives you free travel on the bus , so we went to Zell and See free ! We would be back next year but we’ve already got our holidays booked but my husband was just informing me that there are only a few rooms left this September 🤣"
Jufa Alpenhotel Saalbach
"Pros: The hotel itself is in a great location. We loved the ease of half-pension every night. The dinner was good with entrees choice changing every night. Breakfast was a buffet but we found there was many choices. The family rooms were spacious, and the pull-out sofa was comfortable for a sofa. Loved the heated ski storage. Cons: The heat in the room in unable to be adjusted or shut off. It was 76 degrees in the room overnight - no one slept much. Tried opening the window, but our room was along the main road, which let in the noise from people out drinking all night (1am or so). On the good side, the windows keep out most of the noise when they are shut. After a night of no sleep and sleep and unhappy sweating family members, I went down to the front desk first thing in the morning instead of skiing (we had already paid for ski rentals for the entire time so I lost out on the money) to ask how to shut off heat. Women at checkout said she would send technician up to look at system since it was so hot. I waited 3 hours and no one came to the room. Went back downstairs and it seems she forgot to tell them. Once she called technician he was there in 15 minutes. He said the heat was automatically controlled and there was no way to turn it off in the room. He unplugged the minibar and told me only thing to do is open all the windows since we couldn't regulate heat in each room. So for 3 nights we slept in crazy hot room. We were able to open the windows after the bars shut sometime after midnight. Wish the front desk women would have told me about the thermostat when I went down in the morning so I didn't lose a day of skiing waiting for someone to show up to tell me nothing can be done. "

"The owner and staff worked very hard to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The food was good, the room and beds were comfortable and the mountain views were exceptional. We will be coming back! "
AlpenParks Hotel & Apartment Sonnleiten
"What a perfect place to stay for a week of skiing over Christmas! A high quality experience all round. Fantastic facilities. Warm, modern, clean spacious apartments with awesome views across Saalbach/mountains. Ski in/ ski out. Huge ski area. Super friendly and helpful staff - they really made the difference to our holiday. Great restaurant with delicious breakfasts and even made us GF toast each day and they do dinner too. We didn’t have a car so they lent us their electric car to make a trip to the pharmacy & supermarket. An easy 10 minute walk stroll into the village and maybe 15 mins back but perfect way to end the evening after a big meal. Saalbach is a very pretty ski village, particularly at Xmas time, and nice and compact too with lifts coming right into the village. Was a perfect Xmas ski week for us with plenty of snow!"

Eggerhof Mit Panorama Aussicht, Inklusive Verwöhnpension Und Joker Card
"My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Hotel Eggerhof. using it as a base to expore the area and walk the mountains (you can access one of the many mountain paths directly from the hotel grounds). The location is very quiet and the hotel has stunning views over the mountains and down the valley. The Eggerhof was spotlessly clean and and beautifully decorated throughout and the staff were always friendly and helpful and spoke English which was very helpful for us. The food in the restaurant was exceptional for both breakfast and dinner, as a Ceoliac I was very happy with the attention to detail the hotel paid in ensuring I had fantastic and safe gluten free options for breakfast and dinner every day. Having the small farm on site is great for animal lovers as we were able to go visit the adorable goats, ponies and pigs each day! We would wholehearted recommend staying at Hotel Eggerhof."
Hotel Astrid Mit Panoramapool & Inklusive JokerCard
"This is outstanding hotel! We booked last minute for 4 nights when unseasonable bad weather forced us to change our hiking plans. We chose Hotel Astrid almost at random and were so happy we did! The staff are fantastic, so helpful and friendly. The room was great, as was the beautiful sauna, pool and relaxation room which we had to ourselves every time we used it. There are nice touches like ‘coffee and swim club’ between 7am and 9am every morning, plus a tea making station in the relaxation room. The whole hotel’s decor is cosy, classy and relaxing. However what really sets this amazing hotel apart is the food! We ate there every night because the first meal was so good we couldn’t bring ourselves to go anywhere else. The quality, quantity and presentation of the dishes is outstanding, as was Marlies who looked after us in the restaurant each evening. The breakfast was also first class, served in a lovely rooftop room with a great view. The location was also excellent for the ski lifts and local buses, and a summercard is included which includes travel on all these. We stayed as a couple, but the hotel was clearly also very welcoming to families. This is an absolute gem of a hotel, can’t recommend it highly enough. We are so glad we found it and hope to return as soon as we can!"
Hotel Gappmaier Inklusive JokerCard & Pool
"Lovely modern hotel with good facilities & comfy beds. Our room was large with balcony and views of the mountain. Breakfast very nice. Excellent spa with pool and jets. One minor point, it’s a bit tight on storage if you’re there for a longer stay."
Eva,Garden
"Great hotel. Quieter part of town about a 10 minute walk from the centre. Shuttle in the morning to the lifts if you really did not fancy the walk. Good size rooms, great shower and always hot water. Food was fantastic. Breakfast buffet with lots of choices coupled with fresh bread. Evening meals were delicious, salad, soup, choice of main (always good selection inc veg), sweet and cheese. Staff all very attentive"

Hotel Kendler
"The best ski hotel ever. Perfect location right near lifts. Wonderful room and spa. Excellent ski snacks. Diner was like a Michelin experience every night. Local wine was superb. As was the Weiss beer although a bit pricey. Room service excellent. I cannot review more highly."

"Our apartment was spacious, high-quality furnished, clean and convenient. The way to the lift is short and the skiing runs directly at the house. The fitness area is rich and versatilely equipped. The wellness area consists of three beautiful gym"
Eva,Village
"We’ve just returned from the Eva and would thoroughly recommend it. The hotel manages to be both modern yet maintains the traditional feel helped by friendly and professional staff. It was our 40th wedding anniversary and following an unfortunate dispute with the tour company over the type of room assigned, Maria, the hotel’s reservation agent, took the stress away and confirmed an upgrade to the correct suite even before the start of our stay. Upon arrival every guest is offered a glass of sparkling wine and for us it didn’t stop there. There was complimentary fruit in the room and a bottle of wine plus a congratulations card on the day of our anniversary. Our room (Valentina) was spacious, well furnished, well maintained and perfect for us with all the amenities we could need. The large balcony overlooked the mountain and the back part of the town and was suprisingly peaceful and relaxing even though the hotel sits in the middle of the main street of the town. There was always a large choice of hot and cold food at breakfast, fresh fruit & juices, choice of yoghurts and savouries and of course more sparkling wine! We were half board and had complimentary afternoon snacks on offer and the evening meal was always 5 courses (even alternatives offered if the 3 set choices of mains didn’t suit) all with great service from the staff especially Nico the restaurant manager. The extra bonus for our stay was the complimentary Joker card which gave unlimited access to 6 cable cars in the area and also the Mobility card which gave free access to all buses and trains in the Salzburgerland region. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to reduce the drinks prices (particularly the wine) which I believe would not only lead to them selling more but also retain their guests inhouse rather than venturing out to the many less expensive options but this didn’t particularly mar our stay as we really enjoyed our week. Thanks to all the staff!"
