Nepheli ★★★
"Dirty! We should have left from the first moment and called the health department! Shame on our country! We stayed with my family from 20/07/23 to 25/07/23 by necessity after I had booked it with social tourism vouchers! We had planned to stay (before we went) another three days! I will only refer to our rooms! We didn't expect luxuries! Didn't we mind the small old-fashioned TV that didn't catch any channels or rust on the water heater but the phone in the shower and the short curtain in the bathroom that were yellowed by the passage of time? or /and/ the lera? On the balcony, ropes for hanging clothes and 3 clothes pegs! The small table and the plastic chairs for the balcony were on top of a wardrobe and they also needed cleaning! They changed our towels when the 5 days that were paid for by our cashier were now over and bearing in mind that we would stay another 3 days at our own expense! When we were leaving (and after he asked us for the legal sanction to cancel the reservation) we told him about the above (complaints) he told us that we had to tell each other from the first day to give us other rooms! In other words, he had more clearly, but he gave them selectively? We have been going every year for 15 years on vacations with and without social tourism and we have never encountered anything like this before! I am amazed at the good comments that some have written!"
Virginia Hotel ★★★
"The hotel is small, secluded, but spectacular. The staff is incredibly attentive. The room is very comfortable, and the breakfast is good. Clean and with a great view. Very peaceful. I would definitely return. It has a fantastic pool. The staff is incredibly friendly. The port is nearby. Very convenient."
Semeli ★★★★
"A very pleasant experience after we changed to a room on a higher floor. The hotel is a beautiful boutique property, new and well maintained. Breakfast by the pool is excellent, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Access to the hotel is quite challenging, as it is located up a steep incline from the main road. The hotel has its own parking area, but the climb from the parking lot to the reception can be difficult for older guests because of the steep slope. There is also access via stairs, which can be challenging in hot weather. Perhaps the hotel could consider installing an outdoor elevator. Otherwise, it is a very beautiful hotel overlooking Tsamadou Beach."
Hydrele Beach Hotel & Village ★★★★
"This is a great hotel. The service at the front desk is very good and patient. There is a beautiful woman who can speak Chinese."
Nereides Seaside Apartments ★★★
"A charming village located in the southwest of the island."
Armonia Bay Hotel ★★★★
"Review: My husband and I stayed here for 11 nights at the end of June 2026 and loved the hotel. It's in a superb location on a hill looking out over Tsamadou Bay (a lovely beach just a few minutes walk away). We loved the simple, unfussy design and layout of the building, the landscaped gardens and dining terrace, and the superb infinity pool with its view over the bay. Most of all, we were delighted with the friendliness of all the management and staff, who looked after us so well and made us feel so welcome. Breakfasts were simple but always fresh and delicious. We had dinner here one night too. Dinner was served on the delightful terrace and the food was excellent, one of the best dinners we had during our entire holiday. We couldn't understand why more people weren't there to enjoy it! Our room was a superior sea-view room on the top floor. The room was simple, clean and comfortable and the view was wonderful. We would definitely recommend choosing one of these rooms to anyone staying more than a few days because the ample private roof terrace more than makes up for the compact room size. If we return to Samos one day, this would definitely be our first choice of hotel. Just a couple of tips for anyone considering a stay here: The hotel is set out on 3 main levels, and there is no lift. I am 70 with a slight disability but I was able to manage the stairs ok, but not everyone will be able to. Also, the car park is a bit tight, only accommodating 6 or 7 cars, but a public car park is accessible nearby via a path and a few steps to the top of the hill. Again, this was not a problem for us, but people with health or mobility issues need to be aware. The only small suggestion I would make to the hotel management is that they really should actively discourage guests from "reserving" pool sun-beds by placing their towels on them hours before they intend to use them. While we were there, one selfish elderly couple placed their belongings on the very best pool-side beds every day they were there before anyone even came down to breakfast at 7.30 am. They then didn't even come to the pool till after 10.30am; these guests clearly had no shame! I wish the guests concerned would read this review and pause to reflect on their selfish and inconsiderate behaviour!"
Casa Cook Samos - Adults Only ★★★★★
"We could not accommodate due to reasons beyond my control. A hotel that is not customer oriented. They did not respond to any of my emails. They made no effort to alleviate our suffering."
Kalidon Beach Hotel ★★
"It was a lovely accommodation; the rooms were very clean and spacious, and the breakfast were enjoyable and delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is very good, it's very close to restaurants and beach. it was a good experience."
So Nice Hotel ★★★
"He didn't offer a 1 euro discount. He gave me a disabled room when it should have been empty. I'm not disabled. There is no pool, but I saw the pictures on the internet. Extra pool price"

"Samos is beautiful Kokkari , Pythagoreio to name but two places .The hotel is outstanding, amazingly clean wonderful pool area and dining room. The rooms are again fantastic with the cleaning staff do a grand job. Katrina and all other staff are lovely and friendly always greet you with a smile!"
Samaina Inn
"We had a sea view room on first floor that was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was a little noise from the road but this was not an issue for us. Food was excellent, always plenty of choice and varied throughout the week. Greek night was especially good. Entertainment was 3 times a week and made a nice change. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Maria and Daniel at the bars who were excellent. We did not use the beach as it was stoney but it was popular with others. We used the pool every day. Sunbeds were saved early but we always got beds, which were very comfortable. When we arrived in Karlovasi we were unsure if we had made a good choice. However, on venturing out to the town centre for drinks, and up to the beautiful church high above town, where we found a great, traditional tavernas where we ate and it was excellent, we were happy. We also walked to Potami to see the church, beach and waterfalls. We did the TUI boat trip from Pythagoria which was good value and a fun day. "
Doryssa Method Hotel
"We were so lucky that we found Doryssa Method Hotel. An extremely lovely hotel for our vacation with my friends!!Very convenient to visit Pythagoreio because it was at the center of the town!!Many thanks to the staff !!! So happy for being so lucky on this year's vacation and meeting so wonderful people at Samos"
Anna Studios
"Do not believe the false reviews for this property. We have been coming here for the last 9 years. This was our second visit this year. It is spotless, beautiful. Rooms have everything you need. The maids work so hard, Sheets changed every other day. Towels frequently. If you put them by the shower they will be changed. The breakfast is good. The pools are beautiful and cleaned with electric pool cleaner daily. As for the owners you will find it difficult to find a more accommodating, helpful, friendly greek family anywhere. We do holiday elsewhere as well. Thanks for every thing Yannis and Aspa. Tina."
Ino Hotel & Suites
"The room was not cleaned properly. We had to ask for a second round cleaning. There were even coffee stains on the countertop. The sizes of the rooms are not the same as it is written online and also do not rely on the pictures! It is also way up from the main road."
Samos City Hotel
"Not bad."
Aegeon Hotel
"This is a hotel we have stayed at a few times before. It is a lovely family business but they are attentive. The first time we went this year we stayed in a room with a jacuzzi and we were not happy. Before going for the second time I sent an e-mail and asked for a room on the street side without a jacuzzi. They responded within 5 minutes and made a note of our reservation. Their breakfast ends early if there is a group. And they are not willing to bring it again. The rooms are clean."
Erato by Samian Mare
"Me and my girlfriend came to stay here for a week, we were very pleased with our stay. Both Erato and the sister hotel are immaculately clean, modern and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Our room was always clean, fresh towels every day and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside to our stay would be the lack of variety in an all inclusive package. From personal experiences an all inclusive package has always had a broad range of drinks available; if there was more choice of beer, cocktails and spirits on offer within the all inclusive at the hotel it would definitely enhance a stay here. Karlovasi is a quiet town/village with a peaceful vibe, the port which was about a 2 min walk away had a nice small choice of restaurants which had good food on offer at an affordable price. A sunset meal was always a nice evening! The hotel has a private beach across the road for guests to use which we never had an issue getting a bed for the day. The only issue we found was any drinks you needed you had to pay for, unless you wanted to keep walking to and from the pool bar at the hotel. The pool area itself was clean, modern and chic. The floating pool beds were a nice touch. People did start to queue for beds just before 10am when it opened but was not really an issue as there are generally a lot of beds available. Special shout-out to Dimitrious the hotel worker, he made us feel very welcome the minute we arrived, took care of us and always stopped for a friendly chat whatever he was doing. Great guy! Overall our holiday here at Samos was amazing we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We would recommend improving the all inclusive package for future guests."
Doryssa Seaside Resort
"It wasn't bad."
Meltemia Studios
"otel sahipleri samimi ve misapirver insanlar. otel sakin keyifli ve huzurluydi. havuzu ve odalar cok temizdi ve her turlu ihtiyacinizi karsilamaya uygundu. plaja ve gezilebilecek yerlere yurume mesafesinde olmasi da ayri bir avantaj. odalardaki mutfak cok yeterli ve her turlu imkana sahip cok keyifli bir deneyim oldu."
Arion Hotel
"I was here for a week as part of a hiking group and felt very comfortable in every respect. I had a room in one of the bungalows further away and the hotel was generally very quiet. The room is not fancy and there are very few power sockets, but it had everything you need: a large, comfortable bed (plus another one that I didn't need and used as a shelf), desk, TV with a few German channels, seating area, large closet, fridge - and a mini safe that unfortunately doesn't fit an iPad. The room was easy to darken with a roller shutter and the small terrace had a very nice view. The bathroom is big enough, has an old-fashioned but well-functioning hairdryer and enough shelf space. The breakfast and dinner buffet was varied and it was very nice to sit on the terrace. The snacks in the pool bar are just as good as the cocktails. The staff were also incredibly helpful and friendly! The only small drawback is the location: since the hotel is on a higher elevation, you have an incredibly beautiful view, but you also have to walk about a kilometer and a half down and then back up again if you want to go to the very beautiful town of Kokkari. However, the hotel also offers a free shuttle, so you don't have to walk. Overall, a very nice stay."
Kalidon Panorama Hotel
"I have to say we were absolutely delighted with this hotel. Situated in a beautiful place with stunning views over Kokkari bay and the lovely Lemonakia beach. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay so special, Maria and the team were so friendly and welcoming and a special mention to Dimitris the bar manager who has become a firm friend. Rooms were of a high standard, more than you would expect in Greece and cleaned every day by the hardworking cleaners. Lovely swimming pool and great breakfasts with a good choice of food to suit all tastes. The hotel is relatively small, which suited us as you have the chance to get to know other guests if you wish and it gives a homely feel. Going back next year and can’t wait."
Votsalakia Hotel
"Lovey Greek apartments. Very friendly in a beautiful location. Our room was clean and comfortable and we were made to feel very. Air con and safe are an extra charge. Breakfast is traditional Greek with pastries, breads and some eggs and bacon and the area was kept clean. Stunning location overlooking the sea we were lucky as our room was looking out to sea. Lovely clean pool area with sunbeds. The beach opposite has clear sea with sunbeds it. can be stony getting into the sea so take beech shoes. The resort itself is very quiet just one road of shops and restaurants, everywhere we ate was delicious. If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing traditional Greek holiday this is the place."
Nafsika Sea View Apartments
"Great location! Silent retreat with stunning views! Amazing host. The rooms are so spacious an and clean and the views from the rooms are breathtaking, it’s great value for money."
